- Similarly to Afflicted Magnamalo, an Ibushi solo run is tradition for every update from now on :p
Mind hasn't changed on Ibushi, it's still by far my favorite monster design in Monster Hunter Rise.
As I've explained before, a huge reason why I love Ibushi so much in its design and fight is that despite being a giant Elder Dragon, it is a relatively simple low-mid level threat monster. There is absolutely nothing else in the series has a similar design except maybe Kirin, but Kirin doesn't share the huge size.
The use of the Dragonator was unexpected here, but it might be one of the reasons why I was able to get this time. The nuke didn't topple Ibushi, which it usually always does, but that can happen sometimes. So I had to use the ol' dragon piercer.
The Gore Magala Hammer is still my go-to for this particular fight due to its natural affinity. As I've often said, damage consistency is very important! So having 100% affinity while using Adrenaline is key, since I cannot use Bloodlust.
The reason why I used Impact Burst at the beginning and then immediately again after KOing Ibushi for the first time was to proc Powder Mantle fast enough and land the first explosion before Ibushi begins its ultimate attack.

You seem to be confusing Adrenaline with Adrenaline Rush. Adrenaline means Felyne Adrenaline, the food skill that gives you a 30% damage boost when you're at extremely low HP.
@@dynamo_lynn god this is the same shit as chain crit why do they use such similar names. Same time though i usually see these reffered to as heroics runs
Since I started from World, I thought the serpent fights were really weird, but after a bit of gameplay, I realized the fights were done really well.
Maybe having Zorah Magdaros in World was the reason for my bias though lol.
Also, great run.
Zorah Magdaros is such an abysmal fight, probably the single worst in the entire series that I don't think it's anywhere near comparable to the Storm Serpents tbh
