- So this is the big video I've been working on.
To give a little bit of context to it, well obviously this is because Monster Hunter and Splatoon are in my top 3 favorite series.
But another thing is that I've been studying Game Design for three years and I've been working on this little project which is a third person shooter that incorporates PvE elements of the Salmon Run mode of Splatoon 2 and 3, and gear/customisation/reward cycle elements of Monster Hunter.
The project's Game Design Document contains inspiration, mechanics, and enemy sketches drawn by myself and it's something I'm keeping under my shoulder.
Making this video was kind of an achievement because it allowed me to somewhat actually mix Monster Hunter and Splatoon to visualise my ambitions.
Though obviously it is very scripted as you can tell, it was originally an actual speedrun on which I afterwards added the UI, music and sound elements of Splatoon.
Anyways, I don't think my themed runs on my channel can ever get as big as this. I've been working a full day and night and some on it all by myself and I hope you will enjoy it!
About the run itself, I don't have much to say other than that Jyuratodus is a stupidly bulky monster that's pretty much immune to element, on which I had to abuse raw and poison.
Getting sub 6 on it was near impossible despite my best effort and how good of a target it is for Hammer, until I decided to lower its level to 140.

I loved the idea of mixing Splatoon and Monster Hunter, never crossed my mind the idea but now seeing it it's pretty nice
