I have worn Mjolnir for over a decade. I have never once had a negative reaction to it. Mostly people compliment me on it. Mine is hand carved black walnut, brass wrapped. The fact people recognize it apart from the Marvel hammer, impresses me and gives me added confidence that we arent like a secret. I think more decent people than shit people are out and about.
I made my own mjolnir from a piece of copper pipe a few months ago, with a half dozen simple hand tools. Took 5 days and looks a little crude but I like it! I made an offering to Thor and said "Thor, uiti thisi mjolnir!" ,or Thor, bless this mjolnir, 9 times. I saw a falling star a few seconds later. I think he heard me!
Handmade things are always more precious. Especially since you made yours yourself. You put time, energy and care into crafting your mjolnir and that's makes it so much more meaningful than mass produced jewellery

I live in California and I wear my Mjolnir everywhere I go. I've never had any encounters where people called me racist. They always ask "Are you Swedish" or "Are you a Viking or something".
I had a cashier in Winn-Dixie (I think) stop me and call me "Thunder buddy" when he noticed my Mjolnir, and he showed me his ring. That was a goofy encounter, but shows that what your saying is true. People are happy to see other kindred. Very rare anyone even know what it is though. Never had an argument over it, never triggered anyone that I'm aware of.

I could not find a pre-made one that I liked that was not a piece of junk or made in China. But then I found a blacksmith that hand makes them and sells them. So I ordered one from him. And absolutely love it. I connected with it immediately upon getting it in the mail. Also I have never had a negative experience while wearing mine. I have had a few people ask me about it. Which then lead to some really cool conversations. I also wear a raven's head for Odin, A Celtic themed pentagram urn, and some crystals every day as well. Kind of made myself a custom necklace lol. I feel off when I don't have it on. Most nights I even sleep with it on. Even though I know that is not the best idea lol.
I'm from Southeast Asia and I got my Mjolnir (as well as the Aegishjalmur and Vegvisir) necklace out of my respect and admiration for Neopaganism. I'm thinking of becoming a Neopagan because it connects more with me. Hail to mighty Thor! May he grant me strength and protection.

Mine is a replica from the early Viking age made in Germany. A simple bronze pendant. To me it is a symbol of courage to uphold truth and compassion, which is at the heart of protection. I don't identify as a Heathen, but some might call me one. Cheers.
I‘m from Germany and my ancestors go back to the alamannen which was a tribe that moved to the south west of Germany after the Roman’s backed of ( after they poisoned us with Christianity ) and I am proud to see and read that there are more people turning to pagan ways and connecting more to nature

I speak German , my ritual book is in Runes that when translated into English alphabet you discover is German language and had to be translated again into English language. My own cruel joke , but my students can all speak German before Initiation. I require total devotion to learning the "Path" and that is kind of demanding at times.

I already shave my head (Male pattern balding starting around 25 sucks) and having that on with it just kind of further marks me out to other people. Its always been a concern of mine as I am not, in any way, associated to any of that. I hate how it has been twisted into such. He was a thug looking man, at least he he had all the stereotypes. Dew Rag and Lowered pants etc... Anyway, He shouted “Black power” at me from a very safe distance and then preceded to walk in to the store from the parking lot. There is a reason I don’t go to Walmart often lol. Also, I have never seen some one use the term “Folkish Lite.” That is an accurate description of me and my kindreds views. Our kindred is folkish (The European descent kind, not the Germanic only kind), but we don’t believe that it is right for us to dictate to others how to practice. At the end of they day we might not agree, but we’re fine with it.

I started wearing mjölnir less than a year ago. I was thinking about which one to get but never felt a connection with any of the ones that I've seen online. I decided to carve one out of some Brazilian cumaru wood and instantly felt that connection. Since then I've made 8 other wooden ones from other types of wood and im currently wearing a brass mjölnir that I forged to shape. I respect the concept of a folkish heathenry. Other ethnic groups are allowed to have religions that are exclusive to their ethnic groups so it’s a double standard to say Germanic peoples cannot do the same. What I can’t stand is they tend to be just like the Deus Vult Catholics in terms of morality. They’re extremely homophobic and have absolutely no nuances. They won’t take in anyone who maybe bisexual or flexible with some sort of sexual morality. They just see all sexual deviation as “pedophilia.” They also reject race admixture members which makes no sense to me, as long as they have Germanic blood they should be able to join, no matter if they have darker skin or look Eurasian.

Do you know the 👌 sign? When I was in school that was used to symbolize ones a*hole. The game was to get others to look at it because, 'ooh you looked at my a*hole.' A certain group started using that symbol to identify each other... essentially saying, 'hey look I'm an a*hole.' They tried to change the meaning of it, though. They're doing basically the same thing with norse symbology.

I'm swiss and german and I like the pendant because of it's meaning of protection, because my southgermanic ancestors had the same gods as the scandinavians (north germanic) and I'm into history and mythology (doesn't mean I believe all the stories, rather look into their meaning)

I'd say look through my videos, I have a lot of links on a lot of them. Especially the newer videos.
Starting with the lore is a good place. Read Children of Odin by Padraic Colum and Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology for a good intro, before tackling the Eddas.
Beyond that it's up to you. Belief, and even how you Blot and Sumble can vary from Kindred to Kindred, Hearth to Hearth, and person to person, even within a Kindred.

@@GothiGrimwulff in my opinion the white supremacist subculture pirated the symbols without a care for who it would impact or how. As such these symbols (kinda like the Swastika) took on negativity. Do you know the 👌 sign? When I was in school that was used to symbolize ones a*hole. The game was to get others to look at it because, 'ooh you looked at my a*hole.' A certain group started using that symbol to identify each other... essentially saying, 'hey look I'm an a*hole.' They tried to change the meaning of it, though. They're doing basically the same thing with norse symbology.
