I always liked that dialogue between Niko and Packie on the ride back after the shootout because it's a recap of the events in the story so far. And yeah, you'll definitely have to play the DLCs to see how the diamond story as a whole played out.

Don't forget to hang out with Kate a few times and keep an eye out for Dimitri, he's a real pain in the butt and you should take any chances to get to him.

Has Kaylee got to hear Romans backstory? The one you only get while on a date with Kate? If not either you need to take Kate out to hear it or someome will tell you. Its not integral to the plot but it's just like extra information like when you find out about Arthurs Son :)
You can turn the music on in settings to hear epic music after completing every mission. You can also turn the radio off if you don't wanna get copyright
The whole Gracie thing lasted three missions each taking place during Gerry prison visits, which are suposse to obly have one per day. So gracie was kidnapped during three days.

Kaylee, I hope you see this comment and reply to it. 1-Please play the GTA IV DLCs by release order, it's much better that way, trust me. 2-You need to turn back the audio/soundtrack at some point because The Lost and Damned (first DLC) intro is affected in a very negative way, the intro has no sound and some of the intro is skipped for some reason. You can turn it off again after watching the intro to the DLC and there will be no trouble due to copyright. :) 3-When you're done with GTA IV I would love to link you to a video that explains the lore behind Dimitri's betrayal, it's 1 hour long but trust me, it's really worth it.

What happened to the mission completion sounds? They add quite a lot to the gameplay. I think it might be because you turned the music volume all the way down (which is understandable because copyright)

To make Niko put on a seatbelt you have to wait 1 or 2 seconds when you get on a car and not accelerate right away, nice detail.
