honest, the desolation outfit wars mode was great idea with great online sports potential and that i have to add to wrells legacy. rest... rpg modes and other fancy shit? if just more effort was put on debugging and such. and well lets see how new construction will evolve. now its still very embalanced but it has potential after construction was ruined with bastions come. and for the last: whom we will blame now?
The update went as well as I could have hoped full. I was hoping the update would make infantry fights at construction bases more fun, and revitalize the vehicle game; but as a pessimist I had my doubts about whether it was going to succeed. Despite a few downsides, overall the update was a success. Construction bases are now more fun to fight at, and there seems to be more vehicle combat; heck, it seems more people find Oshur tolerable now.
@@upyermaw2732 The game population, and the number of builders will decrease quite a bit; but that doesn't take away from the improvements. I love the new command center, the rebirth center, and the fortress shield module. I can more easily drive and fly nearby enemy construction bases because of no automated turrets. And my other accounts got the spawn tube, vehicle pad, and repair module for free from the mission; and the Ants were all given max cortium storage and cortium radar by default. Also Construction Outpost Silos are so much better than the old empty capture points in the middle of nowhere.

He was pretty much in charge of the game for most of its life and it's still around. We have very different definitions of running something into the ground. The only thing I see that's been run into the ground is the idea that everything in life is Wrel's fault. I wouldn't be surprised if some people wake up, see that it's raining outside and start cursing out Wrel because they don't know where else to focus their angst.

He even ruined the graphics LMAO. Not a single aspect left untouched, not a single improvement made in 7 years. He ruined ESFs, ruined tanks, added extra damage dropoff on every infantry gun for no reason, etc. and left so many easily solved issues unfixed.
