Weh, I'm Cameroonian. With a mom who can truly cook. This recipe saved me from digrace because my uncles were waiting for me to cook
😂😂😂I totally understand 🤣🤣🤣
I use a round measuring scoop.. dip it in oil before scooping... the batter will slip nicely into the hot oil..
Thanks for there recipe.. 👍👍👍
I tried this yesterday! I added a bit more nutmeg and cinnamon, and it came out perfectly. Thank you for sharing!
I had to subscribe. This recipe reminds me of my childhood days here in Kenya. There was a guy who used to make these at the roadside so we would buy them on our way home. Delicious, simple times they were
I am from the Caribbean island and my husband is Nigerian he loves his puff puff bad and use the first and second methods but am sure going to try the 4th method thanks darling.

Perfect!!!! In Greece we call puff puff - loukoumades we add honey, cinnamon and walnuts over them. I make them using your hand technique, but girl I'm definitely using the ice cream scoop next time!!! Clean hands and perfect round puffs!!! Thanks for the tips
The thought of honey, cinnamon and walnuts all over puffpuff!!😍😍. Will have to try that. Thanks
Thank you, been looking for a video like this for ages. Love puffpuff, favourite African food. My friend uses a desert spoon to make hers all the same size though the ice=cream scoop sound to be a brilliant idea.

The background music alone made me stay😂
😂😂
Right I was dancing immediately I opened it 😂
Techniques 3 is better
It look natural and allowed communication between me and my food
Kudos
I tried your recipe and it came out absolutely perfect! Thank you :D
Thank you so much for this. This is the first time I made perfect puff-puffs. I had been using warm water for the fast rising yeast and the dough never rises. Trying the cold water method today worked magic. Thank you so much. I’m so elated.
Oh oh I used warm water, hope my dough raises!!!! Was wondering why she didnt mention warm water as others do ..sigh lol. My dough is currently warming up.
✊🏽✊🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽tomorrow morning im waking up to practising this with the hand scoop method I just learnt clearly 😎😎thanks sis 💗

I'm just seeing this video! Your explanation is clear to me, honestly! Thank you for showing the techniques. This is the easiest puff puff video I've watched so far. I like the ice cream scoop technique, I don't like getting my hands dirty like that lol
Thank you 🤗
Hey, loved your recipe ,kindly reduce the background music when talking.
I loved the music in the background. I kept wanting to dance while learning your technique. Hahahaha. Love it!!
Haha thanks for this. Alot of people said its too loud so I've learnt from that
I love this video.....very very informative and detailed
I tried your puff puff recipe. First time trying it and it came out perfect and delicious. I used watered down condensed milk for added flavor and it came out DELISH!!
Yay I'm glad 😍
technique 2 is my absolute fave way of doing it!!!
I wonder those who unliked this very informative video. Anyhoo, that shows how there's so much hate in the world we live in. The icecream scoop is the way to go. Tech 1,2,3 is what our grandmothers used and people still use them today which works for them. Thank God for technology!
Techniques 1,2, and 3 are technology. Using an alien instrument such as the ice cream scoop isn't advanced, and doesn't require the skill that using the hands you were blessed with does.
@@wordsbymaribeja1470 Oh yes you're right !!! I actually tried all techniques except the one with the icing bag and the hand method came out to be the best. The only downside to me was the sticky hands. Or may be I wasn't doing something right.😆
Pls where can I get the ice cream scoop to buy?
wow I admire you, when people can actuall fry buns and it comes out so well..more grace. People like you encourage to start up my own channel, more grace ma, I pray in all these we must Jesus in your life, honesty everything is vanity without Jesus.. we should remember to feed our soul as well, Jesus is coming soon! please ma and friends help me grow my channel, I started a food channel almost 3 days ago, thank you as you watch and subcribe God bless you all. thank you ma

So crispy and nice😋😋😋
I've been saying this before, but people were arguing with me. Thank you for confirming the fact that it's possible to use a spoon, instead of raw fingers to scoop the puff puff for frying. Paid heavily for bakery classes, but my teacher didn't even know about the spoon idea. Why draw a circle with your raw fingers, when you have a protractor? Many teachers like to hide things from their apprentices in Nigeria. This is what I passed through while learning keke napep. Discovered the friction zone, thottle control & many other things on my own
Love your accent! You speak so eloquently and one can tell you’re a lovely person too 🤗
Thank you, very well described.

In my house we replace white flour with cassava flour( fufu) and it's just as delicious to make puff puff, meat pie , chin chin you name it
christine adebiyi That sounds like a genius idea. Do u still use the yeast? And the rest of the ingredients?
Sewa Nuga yes the ingredients stay the same expect flour. There's also fufu mix which usually contains cassava and plantain flour. This is sweeter which is ideal for plantain mosa/sweet snacks.Cassava is low in carbs and a good substitute for flour.
christine adebiyi hello ma,how do u make it with cassava?
christine adebiyi This is blowing my mind right now. Do u replace the regular flour with the exact same amount of cassava flour? If u have a recipe u can share, I'd really appreciate it. I'm assuming u use the same recipe for chin chin as well u just replace the flour with cassava flour.
Hey Christine, Do u have pictures of your cassava puffpuff... i would love to try cassava instead of flour...😊
It looks delish!! 😀
