This may have been my favorite R&C game. The story was interesting, the mini games were really fun, and I really liked the whole aesthetic. Like, frozen wastes, levels that felt bigger and more open, and the music is great.
This was the very game I got as a present. I remember finishing it multiple times with every save. My dad was angry at me for having a 4.2 mb save data on one game

This game had the widest variety of weapons in the series, imo. Even some that are mostly impractical. Back when the tone of the weapons was that they were experimental and dangerous and could possibly explode in your face at any time. Miss the scientists. And the music. And the old humor...
Christmas Morning 2007 my brother and I played this fame together for hours, Switching off whenever one of us died. After Christmas, he would usually advance the story with me sitting beside him on the couch, and I would replay old levels on my own just to grind out bolts and explore. I adore this game. Why can it not just come to steam?

Great gameplay, but my sweatiness winced every time he walked around a corner and took a hit because he didn't yet see what was over there EDIT-- BTW i absolutely loved how mad he got at the infiltrator puzzle. I was laughing so hard at that part because I remember doing the same exact thing

I watched all the way through your R&C 2002 playthrough and now I'm here for this one. This game was a huge part of my childhood, without a doubt my favorite out of the older games. Much love to those at Insomniac who worked on it.

I played this game a ton too, I can't remember how many times I beat it or any of the PS2 ratchet games for that matter. But thankfully all of those discs are in good condition. Can't say the same for some of my other games for PS2 and GameCube. I have a box of about 20 GameCube games all scratched up, back when I didnt know how to take care of discs lol.
This was my favourite game in the ps2, I loved it so much I have 13 million bolts and 98% completion, just need 2 more skill points! Been playing for like 11 years haha

i dont have a ps3 only a 4 and PC so i went back to ps2 and god damn is it the best thing ever. Playing R&C 2 again after not playing since like 2008 strengthens memories of places ,characters and by far the best in my opinion the music! charge boots are king, also fuck the infiltrator puzzles some of those damn puzzles had 15+ lines to connect besides that absolute incredible game

It sucks that the RYNO II is 1m bolts, oh well, time to grind for 2 hours! :P I don't get why people hate the Clank levels so much, personally, I think it's a cool mix between puzzle solving and combat. Chain Blade is easy. The B2 Brawler is cheap. The B2 Brawler is even more cheap when you use the Blitz Gun and the Chopper. I like the Electrolyzer, it's a nice upgrade from the Trespasser from the first game. Apparantly, Ratchet and Clank condones gambling.
Well actually you can enter challenge mode after you beat the game the game gives you a bolt multiplier that can go up to 20x the more enemies you kill without getting hit so at least it makes it easier to get the RYNO II and plus the bolt rewards go up in the arena areas in Challenge mode
Sweet gameplay work on here my friend, you do good on longplays, wish I could make gameplay this good, someday, that aside you tried making one for ni no kunin 1 or 2? There both great games I’m both told and played/watched
And Angela is a real female lombax, same as Rivet. Since Rivet lost her arm in war, we don't see the lower body of Ratchet's mother, and Angela is also a soldier as well as a scientist, we can assume that Angela lost her tail the same way Rivet lost her arm. Another possibility of Angela not having a tail could also be due to her being a different lombax species and not having a tail altogether. Angela and her lombax variation not having tails could be because of their environment they live in, where there are a ton of predators that can grab hold of that tail. Angela's species of lombax might have lost their tails because of the massive predators that litter, and infest, the Bogon Galaxy.
Back when Ratchet and Clank was very good. Now the last few games that came out were very short (I hated when I completed Nexus in only one day). I so hope that PS5 Ratchet and Clank will be this long.

Watching this game, it took me almost a decade to understand that Quark can’t pronounce big words. After planet Aranos is when Quark captured the prof.
Just beat The snivelak boss and took me only 2 attempts using the turrets and people said this was the hardest boss in the game. I heard tale of folk saying this was harder than drek please this boss doesn't compare to drek 🤣😁😂
