No, it is so he can be held accountable. Do you see what is going on with Robert Morris? deceived many in believing it was just a moral failure that still disqualified him. But, instead, his actions were with a child, which means he should not have been around children, which he was throughout his many years in ministry after what he did. So, regarding Tony Evans, that's why the body of Christ needs to know. Depending on exactly what the sin was, the church would know what they need to do and if certain precautions need to be made. I am going to add that is why scripture talks about people not being too eager to be a pastor. This is what comes with being a pastor. And when a fall happens, there needs to accountability and transparency. But at the end of the day, whether or not they disclose the sin , one thing we do know is it was bad enough to where he had to step down.

By the way, if he said it had nothing to do with children would you drop it? Also just so you know, I was indifferent to Tony Evan's teachings. He was alright but nothing special, so I was not a big follower of his.

Tony Evans was a Pastor, by saying this, I am not excusing sin amongst believers however, Tony Evans was in a role of leadership and is held and a very high standard. furthermore, scripture tells us to confess our sins one to another so that we may be healed. And as Christians, we are to live a life of holiness and when we fall short we are called to repent. Falling short is one thing and living in sin is another. I stand by the fact that Evans Owes it to his congregation and those who supported his ministry to be fully transparent. I never said Evans did anything with a child I was using it as an example regarding the situation with Robert Morris. Because apparently Morris didn't think what he did was a crime or knew it was which is why he deceived so many for 35 years. I myself never followed Evans ministry. At the end of the day we all will be held accountable for what we do and what we say. God is a just God and he will judge us all rightly.
