Jonathan Evans, a mentor, author, speaker, and former NFL fullback treasures his relationship with Christ along with the opportunity to use his life to glorify God. Jonathan seeks to impact today’s athletes, men, and young adults by equipping and encouraging them in their faith.
Jonathan serves with his pastor, friend, and father, Dr. Tony Evans, both in the local church and the national ministry. They also teamed up together to write Get in the Game, a practical guidebook filled with sports analogies and spiritual truths aimed at strengthening readers with the skills they need for living victoriously.

I pray God continues to comfort and heal your family during this time. Sis Evans was such a treasure and light.
My sister transition from cancer like his wife. God gave his wife 70 years and from the testimonies she served him well. My sister didn’t serve him but God gave her time and space before her transition to make her sure her soul was ready. There was a time she couldn’t get out of bed. The prayers I prayed and the healing cd of Pastor Hannah God used and gave her relief. She traveled the world shortly after. God saw her eternity despite what the earth wanted. Prayers could no longer hold her soul in the earth. At the age of 51 she entered eternity. God has a sense of humor. She’s probably bragging to those whom life cancer claimed about her holy sister and servant of Christ she was able to make it in. People should be praising God no matter what sickness claimed their life. JESUS CLAIMED THEIR SOUL. WHAT CELEBRATION ITS GONNA BE FOR THOSE WHO LIVE THEIR LIVES IN CHRIST JESUS

Its unfortunate for the death of your beloved sister. But,the passing of loved ones is difficult for the family left behind to mourn their deaths. God is refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. ❤😢
she was able to have a birthday then she got her new eternal birthday on 123019. praise Jesus.

Sister Lois Evans earthly birthday was 12/1/49 and transition to her heavenly birthday 12/30/19. God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. ❤😢
Johnathan, l never new of your entire family until our Pastor shared that your church lost its first lady, that your father lost his wife. I watched the homegoing service and how beautiful it was. From the flowers to Kirk Franklin sobbing the entire time he played the piano to each person sharing their experiences with your parents to your heart felt powerful message. I sobbed as if l knew her and am sadden that l didn't. Then l watched your father's message reflecting on the life of Dr. Lois Evans and it was worth watching over and over. Your family are in my prayers. God bless.

I listened to the Urban Alternative on radio since late 80’s, went on a cruise when Dr. Lois looked like Priscilla, either 1997 or 98, to celebrate my Master’s, then I heard Dr. Lois passed and learned that it was on my birthday, 12/30! I cried as I binge watched videos of her and he husband! I enjoy the fact that all the children are in ministry: I saw Anthony perform at a conference and with his sister in NY. Best to all of you.

So beautiful. My wife and I attended OCBF in '92 and I worked at TUA in the Fall of '92 during seminary. The two things I remember most about those days (besides the 2 hour Sunday morning worship service that felt like only an hour): Your father's wry smile and ever-witty words when I was introduced to him as the newest (and only white) office staff: "I see we're adding a little color to the office." (LOL BRILLIANT!!!); and secondly once overhearing your mom talking in the office with some of the other ladies about how she had always felt very beautiful when pregnant, in contrast to the temptation for pregnant women in our culture to feel at their least attractive... your mom seemed to have a refreshingly "higher" and healthier view of life and herself. I didn't know her at all but that really stuck me. (Alan in Indiana)
