Since pandemic has hindered in person dating, one sure way of knowing whether someone likes you is if you noticed that they have been updating you every often about what's going in their lives and they are establishing routines with you in mind. For instance, when I started talking to this guy, we just casually talk but not really trying to update every now and then. After we met for the first time, he started updating me often, telling me how his day went and wishes that my day turned great too.

When my current gf first asked me out, I thought she was joking and it wasn't until a week after we started dating that I realized she was serious about it. Things I have noticed are: they look at you when talking to see how you react to their joke or story. They thank you personally after a get together with more people instead of talking in group chat ect. They put a little more time in their outfit to impress you a little. Yea this is true. I had a crush on a co-worker who worked part-time. She’d come in on Tuesday’s and Thursdays. So I always wore my best clothes on those days. Okay i wanna go on a little rant, thank you to anybody who actually reads this. In all of these videos they mention eye contact a lot but as a person who thinks eyes are really pretty i always find myself staring into someone’s eyes no matter who’s they are and it’s really hard to focus on anything else, sometimes the person notices and it becomes really awkward and they start to think i like them. The simplest way to tell if someone is attracted to you is to ask them out. Nothing major, just a drink after work or class, or maybe coffee. Try to pick an upbeat moment, like when you are both laughing over a shared joke. Then segue into a simple invite like “hey, I really like talking with you, would you like to go out for a drink sometime?” Be sure to be specific, don’t say “let’s hangout sometime.” Your interest will either say yes, no, or I’m in a relationship and you can take it from there. Since pandemic has hindered in person dating, one sure way of knowing whether someone likes you is if you noticed that they have been updating you every often about what's going in their lives and they are establishing routines with you in mind. For instance, when I started talking to this guy, we just casually talk but not really trying to update every now and then. Some people are pretty dense at love. Including me. I convince myself no one sees me in a romantic way, so even if they did flirt, I'd just take it as them being nice. When my current gf first asked me out, I thought she was joking and it wasn't until a week after we started dating that I realized she was serious about it. So women, if you ever think "I told him to his face I liked him. He can't be that dense, right?" Oh, we can.
Things I have noticed are: they look at you when talking to see how you react to their joke or story. They thank you personally after a get together with more people instead of talking in group chat ect. They put a little more time in their outfit to impress you a little. They might start rambling or stutter because you make them nervous or they are more calm and relaxed.

Okay i wanna go on a little rant, thank you to anybody who actually reads this.
In all of these videos they mention eye contact a lot but as a person who thinks eyes are really pretty i always find myself staring into someone’s eyes no matter who’s they are and it’s really hard to focus on anything else, sometimes the person notices and it becomes really awkward and they start to think i like them. This also happens when i zone out and look into space and someone thinks I’m staring at them. Also, I blush really easily. Literally ANYBODY can make me blush. One of ⋔ friends tried a pick up line in me and after a few seconds they were like “wow you blush soo easily” and i was really embarrassed. As well as this my friends like to ship me with one of my guy friends and i blush at that aswell. He also probably thinks i like him back because of the eye contact and staring into eyes which then leads to the blushing and looking away and it makes life way more difficult and awkward than it needs to be.
Edit: oml I’m also really fidgety as a result of mental disorders and stuff

I just wanna say something that I feel like many people need to hear. Ik there are plenty of people who are afraid to b happy. This may sound weird if you don't understand but I used to be one of these people. Scared to b happy for fear of getting hurt worse than I was before, but I realized something. I realized that even if I do get hurt that at least I got something good out of it. I realized that there will b some point in ur life when life gives u a break. Rn u might b in pain or hurt or experiencing something negative but trust me, life will give u a break. There's another thing I noticed abt life. There r two types of people in this world, now this will vary depending on the person ofc but imagine life is a rose. Now there are people who avoid roses for fear of getting hurt by the thorns, and there r people who notice and acknowledge those thorns but can still c the beauty in it. They can still c that even with those thorns it's still beautiful, that with the thorns it's still perfect. Which one are u and which one do u want to b?
