Nice seeing the Tesoro out there searching for treasure! My first detector was a unluilt new in the box Heathkit that a buddy gave me in lieu of payment for building/assebling his Heathkit HW-101 Ham Radio transceiver back in the early 80’s. I found lots of canslaw with that Heathkit detector and asoe loose dropped coins here and there. It basically hit on anything metallic with little to no discrimiation. But it was fun and my introduction into the detecting hobby.
My first machine was a Tesoro Vaquero back in 2013. I don’t miss it at all lol. I went to a t2 and g2 then a multi kruzer, a simplex, a DEUS, a Nox 600, and now I got a triple score along with the DEUS. I kept that one. I’m loving the triple score so far.

Unfortunately most of us do not have deep pockets for a Nexus detector.
How long to get deus coil fixed.
Maybe 2 ish months if they have parts in texas....took me 6 months for a new mother board in my head unit at cost 500 some dollars
