    Obviously people have been doing this for thousands of years, and a wild hog was no different then than they are today. Y'all kaynt ged'it no fresher 'n' that.

    I have a question though. How do you dispose of the unused portions of the carcass? If you get more than a few hogs at a time, would it become a sanitary problem? Keep up the good work!

      Thanks for watching! We have a dump location on our property where we dispose of the unused carcass, the other animals have a good meal!

    I've heard that wild hog can be infected with all sorts of parasites and diseases and therefore, you don't want to eat it. Now obviously back in the day, people on the frontier would eat just about everything they could hunt and kill. I want to know how you know it's safe to eat. Is it best to make it into jerky?

    I do all of my own wild game butchery. You threw away a lot of good meat off of that pig. The ribs, inside loins, all of which would take min's to get. That was a waste, but each their own.

    You don't NEED a Saw to cut it up .. use a GOOD knife and Learn how to use it
