For the Price there were a lot things cheaped out on. No power jacks , Cable slides, fold up ladders on both entrances, Lower grade tires, and suspension. Very limited storage space inside an out, would have like to see a 3/4ths or full bathroom in the garage. The non power jacks I just cant get over at this price.
Thank you for covering this unit, JD. I may have finally found the toy hauler I've been looking for. The fifth wheel we had was okay, but it really was just too big with a lot of wasted space and a poor layout overall. While I do believe this should include some extra features for the price point (auto leveling and MORryde steps at the least), already having a generator included almost makes up for it. As far as the weight goes, it's not a problem with a properly equipped tow vehicle, which should definitely include a weight distribution hitch. (A properly equipped driver also helps.) This unit finally accomplishes what a toy hauler should be in my opinion. A comfortable living area, a functional (although somewhat small) kitchen, and a garage that's not overcrowded with so much extra stuff that there's hardly any room left to fit an ATV. Overall, it's a pretty good layout. For the most part, they utilized the space to get the most out of every square foot. It might not have all the amenities like it's fifth wheel counterparts, but do we really need all that stuff if we're going to actually spend time outdoors? Again, thank you for the review and I'm definitely going to be looking closer at one of these units.
This is a nice unit. I really like the set up and the separate garage for a travel trailer. I have an Outdoor RV 29TRX and this remind me of my RV. My unit has a GVWR of of 14k. It is 9800# empty and pulls really well. The tongue weight comes out to about 1600# and I have a Ram 2021 3500 Limited HO Mega Cab with factory air that pulls it. I believe the 1 ton handles the load perfectly. Thanks for the video.
We just looked at one of these units last weekend. In some ways it was a stellar unit and we felt the build quality was one of the best we’ve seen so far. The big hang up I have is the complete lack of exterior storage. They also cheaper out on the running gear and seasonal doors in the garage. The dealership priced out adding the glass doors and installing a CRE3000 equalizer with wet bolts at an additional $2700.
Best unit you have shown in a long time. Have 4 boys and we do like our toys(Motorbikes, Quads etc) but even if we didn't this would be the one to get. Just the best bunk setup (without going to a huge/expensive 5th wheel, mid bunk/2 bed) in the toy haulers to actually sleep a family of six without having to rely on couch, dinette etc.
I’m not seeing anything new or exciting about this unit but I am seeing some missed opportunities. Washer and dryer hookups in the garage would be nice. You don’t find those in bumper pulls very often so that would be a selling point. Also, can we just always put residential fridges in full time rigs? It’s annoying to have to come home from the grocery store and have to play refrigerator Tetris. And why is the bedroom so small and tight? Trying to put sheets on that bed is gonna be a back breaking nightmare! I currently live in a 32’ bumper pull and the bedroom is huge. There’s a full size closet, a six drawer dresser, a television, a queen bed with shelves on each side, two overhead storage cabinets with loads of room and a good three feet between the foot of the bed and the dresser. This bedroom is the reason I haven’t traded it in. I can’t find another one that can compare. These companies need to put together focus panels of full timers, with several being women, who can give them the customer’s perspective on their designs because they seem to be recycling the same tired, inconvenient design elements over and over.
I like a LOT of things about this TT. For one, the battery storage is way better than just a plastic box where people can easily steal your battery while it's in storage. I like the slide out bedroom. I'm not 100% sold on the bathroom. It'd be better if it had a solid shower door and porcelain toilet. The kitchen are is OK. I didn't see a coffee station, which is valuable counter space. I like the orientation of the TV with the couch. I'd add an electric fireplace under the tv...It looks like the perfect space, so that may be an option. I also wonder if there's an option for a 3rd A/C in the master bedroom. Seems like the nice new 5th wheels can handle 3 A/Cs, so it'd be nice to have that option, especially if you live in the south. I like the half bath in the garage. Is there a space back there for w/d hookups? My current TT/TH has a combo w/d in the garage, and it's been great when we've been living in it for a couple weeks. That gas generator is sooo convenient. I've got a 30gal tank for the gen and a 30 gal tank for toys, so that's 60 gallons of gas to power a generator if I need it. Way more convenient than propane! Throw a few solar panels on top and you're set for most situations. Overall I really like this one.
Disappointed to see the cable driven slide. Also, the bedroom slide is Schwintek, not a rack and pinion. Rack and pinion slides for both sides, porcelain toilet in the master bedroom and electric or hydraulic jacks would make this unit perfect!
I like Alliance. I like this layout as well even if you aren't hauling toys. You are slipping JD. That was a Schwintek slide in the bedroom 🤣. Two cable slides and one Schwintek. I'm guessing that to save weight. As always a great review! Glad to see you are doing well.
Thanks for the tour. Not a fan of plastic toilet in main bathroom and cable slides. Would love to see a full fiberglass wrap around front cap, solid surface or epoxy counters and 3 season back doors in garage. We'll wait until they have these on this unit.
Their literature shows 3 season doors as an option, but I haven't one unit with that option yet. For us 3 season doors are needed for a bit more security for our kids at night than a pull down screen. Gives the dogs time to scare away any threat.
Nice walkthrough. Very good layout for a TT toy hauler that has a tv you can actually watch without craning your neck. I noticed you said it is 50 amp, but there are other videos stating it is only 30 amp. Would be an item people should confirm before purchase.
I have one of these. Our dealer told us ours was 50 amp, but it ended up being 30 amp. We are watching other dealer videos that also say 50 amp. Everyone we know has the 30 amp service on theirs. Do you know if Alliance has started putting 50 amp service in these? That would be way better!
I was told the same thing by the dealer I purchased mine from. This unit will never work correctly with a 30 amp unit. They need to change all units to 50 amp.
I wish there was more storage on the outside, especially being a toy hauler. Having the generator and big battery storage makes sense but not having a front pass through deletes a lot of potential storage space. The inside storage was decent but some cabinetry in the garage would've been nice to see. I love the floor plan for being a bumper pull toy hauler, but the storage is a deal breaker
I'd like to see some Living Quarters horse trailer reviews. I have looked at most available ten years ago. They are a step above toy haulers that you can safely haul 2, 3 or four horses.
I do like this unit there are a few things they could improve on, JD I watched your video on the Riverstone units wall and frame construction I’m wondering how these Valor walls are secured to the frame I’ve seen some videos on Grand Design that looks really questionable if the Valor is put together like the RiverStone then it would be a solid unit
I can only hope Alliance did a better job on the Valor than they did on the delta, but owner comments on the Owner forum makes it marginal. The Delta suffers from issues some valor owners recorded.
Maybe its just the video but sure looks large for bumper hitch. Your spot on with balancing the load. I'm thinking to pay attention to high wind advisory/warnings. Thank you for review!
13000 lb resting on a 25/8 ball at 15% of gross weight that's 1,980 on the hich. Way to much all that length starts to sway it will easily get out of control
Put a little birdie in their ear. Make a toy hauler lifestyle trailer a half ton can tow max weight say 9000lbs as most ppl have half ton and not 3/4 or 1tons. . don't like,e the moniker "toyhauler" my 25000dollar machine is a lifestyle machine not a toy. That's my personal opinion.
Thermofoil counter tops, plastic toilets, cheap shower curtain, no upgraded suspension with cheap tires. Too many "Upgrades" to fool with. Can get similar and those features with other brand at a comparable price.
I looked at this unit and can say the quality appears better than others similar with the seperate garages. It also feels more like a fifth wheel than the others...
Nicely done by Alliance. I like how they situated generator, batteries, furnace and water heater and still had room for some exterior storage.
For the Price there were a lot things cheaped out on.
No power jacks , Cable slides, fold up ladders on both entrances, Lower grade tires, and suspension.
Very limited storage space inside an out, would have like to see a 3/4ths or full bathroom in the garage.

By far the best travel trailer ever! Sending love from Fort Worth Texas. ❤️

Loved it but it’s missing seasonal doors. Grand design still in the lead. It is though a serious competitor

That's a nice unit! A bit more of a garage than this solo with a Harley would need but definitely worth consideration
I like Alliance. I like this layout as well even if you aren't hauling toys. You are slipping JD. That was a Schwintek slide in the bedroom 🤣.

Now I could full-time it this unit!!! One question, do they make an attachment to convert the bumper pull to a gooseneck? Just asking!
A lot in a small space. It needs to actually be more than 31’. But it’s not for full time unless you expand into the garage.
I can only hope Alliance did a better job on the Valor than they did on the delta, but owner comments on the Owner forum makes it marginal. The Delta suffers from issues some valor owners recorded.
it would be perfect if it had an outside kitchen or at least a grill and a refrigerator
Maybe its just the video but sure looks large for bumper hitch. Your spot on with balancing the load. I'm thinking to pay attention to high wind advisory/warnings. Thank you for review!
Cool
Would love to hear your input on a Brinkley 3100 z or was it d? Your thoughts are needed.
Manual stabilizer jacks and no auto level. Needs CRE suspension. It’s lacking
It’s weird to me that there’s a porcelain toilet in the back, but not in the main bathroom. Overall, I really like this layout though!
Disappointed theres no washer/dryer hook ups. Would much rather have that than the half bath
Loved it until I saw the 2 cable driven slides.
13000 lb resting on a 25/8 ball at 15% of gross weight that's 1,980 on the hich. Way to much all that length starts to sway it will easily get out of control

washer, dryer ?
odd to have the generator exhaust in the people camp side of the unit...
Thermofoil counter tops, plastic toilets, cheap shower curtain, no upgraded suspension with cheap tires. Too many "Upgrades" to fool with. Can get similar and those features with other brand at a comparable price.
I saw it in person at Tampa, and at first I was mighty impressed until you dug a little deeper and was SMH. What a missed opportunity....
Nothing in this toy hauler makes me go “OHhhhh”. For the price point, buyers can get more for their money from other manufacturers.
I looked at this unit and can say the quality appears better than others similar with the seperate garages. It also feels more like a fifth wheel than the others...
Unbelievable-An Alliance rv with a plastic toilet! There goes their reputation.
That’s a big girl.
Seems like Alliance spent 95% on the layout design, and then 5% on the execution. That's a non starter....
Why in the hell do you called bumper pull it's a tag .there no vehicle that can pull it by bumper
3500 trucks can
It has too many cable slide outs
“My F-150 can tow 14,000 lbs, it’ll handle this no problem” 🤦
💥💥💥GUY'S, LETS HELP THIS CHANNEL REACH 500K, I THINK HE DOES A GTEAT HONEST JOB ON HIS REVIEWS. I AM SENDING YOUR CHANNEL TO MY MOM, SHE'LL LOVE YOU!
Big truck big rv is there 48ft bumper pull toy haulers because that's what I am looking for I've had fifth wheel but not to thrilled to many steps
