Jenny of Oldstones Lyrics:
High in the halls of the kings who are gone
Jenny would dance with her ghosts
The ones she had lost
And the ones she had found
And the ones who had loved her the most
The ones who’d be gone
For so very long
She couldn’t remember their names
They spun her around on the damp old stone
Spun away her sorrow and pain
And she never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
They danced through the day and into the night
Through the snow that swept through the hall
From winter to summer and winter again
Til the walls did crumble and fall
And she never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
And she never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
High in the halls of the kings who are gone
Jenny would dance with her ghosts
The ones she had lost
And the ones she had found
And the ones who had loved her the most - Видеоклипы
Unbelievably impressive that you already have an arrangement of this song!
Considering the fact that that episode was juts uploaded yesterday, you are really fast dude. Probs from Germany my dear piano-friend. :D
There was a leak ... the episode was out on friday
@@doyle8120 hmmm I missed the leak daym
Yep, I spent the whole day after the episode learning the lyrics, it's such a lovely tune.
*I'm a slow learner , :)
Man muss ja auch zugeben das das mit Abstand einer der geilsten Game Of Thrones Original Songs ist vor allem mit der Stimme von Podrick hört es sich am besten an
Lyrics:
High in the halls of the kings who are gone
Jenny would dance with her ghosts

And the ones who had loved her the most

And the ones who had loved her the most.
Damn, really needs a solid second verse doesn't it
What does it mean?
@@godzilla4005 A little late:
Aegon the 5th was a really chill dude. His son, Prince Duncan wanted to marry for love instead of the match his father arranged him, so he abdicated the throne for a common girl named Jenny. They all called her Jenny of Oldstones, for courtesy, since she had no title or even surname.
Then, in the tragedy at summerhall, Aegon the 5th probably wanted to wake some dragons and accidentally set the whole place on fire. Everyone died, including prince Duncan, but Ser Duncan the Tall, Lord Commander of the kingsguard and Aegon the 5th best buddy managed to get Jenny out of there, before dying himself.
So now here's Jenny. Once a commoner, then suddenly married to a prince, and then lost them all in a fire. Haunted by the ghosts of the past.
It's also possible, that jenny died in the fire herself, now dancing as a ghost through the ruined summerhall. We'll only know for sure once the last Dunc and Egg novel appears.
who sang the song with the Piano in the Background 🔥
The Ghost of High Heart would tell you every prophecy she has.
Poor old thing gorged on grief at Summerhall. The saddest part really was the sound of the little bells
This song remind me of Pippin from LotR singing aswell
The writers/producers said they took great inspiration from LoTR for this episode and the next one
Well good. It was supposed to.
The first few notes are the same, a homage to pips song. ;)
Ripped straight from it.
I have no problem with that tho.
Yeah me too
Such a beautiful melody.
the old ghost of HighHeart will give you a prophecy every time you sing her this song, some whisper that she IS Jenny of Oldstones... i'm so happy they put this song in the show
Whose crying while singing. Just me? Ok then
I am not ready for episode 3.
Lyanna Stark 😭🙌
Me too 😭😭
I guess nobody is 😢😂
Been crying since Sunday. Been listening to this song non-stop since Sunday.
:(
I'm definally not ready for today's episode 😢💔
Beautiful! I got goosebumps when Podrick sang this, today's episode was fantastic
What got me the most is that he wasnt even looking at anyone when singing. It was just his raw emotion. he wasn't looking for praise or for people to sing along. Just pure emotion
Lyrics:
High in the halls of the kings who are gone
Jenny would dance with her ghosts.
The ones she had lost and the ones she had found
And the ones who had loved her the most.
The ones who’d been gone for so very long
She couldn’t remember their names
They spun her around on the damp cold stone
Spun away all her sorrow and pain
And she never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave.
Never wanted to leave.
Never wanted to leave.
Never wanted to leave.
Never wanted to leave.
They danced through the day
And into the night through the snow that swept through the hall
From winter to summer and winter again
Til the walls did crunble and fall
@@Haaalo079 What's this a half written second verse?
@@caelmcdiarmid1874 yes he only did half the song and i did the second part
The last meeting, before the war,
So depressing, Game of thrones will start next Monday
Winterfell's Battle
And how depressing it was
No, it didn't start that Monday, it died, alongside the Night King
Not only do I love how he sings this but this rendition is genuinely touching, the ending too... dude that gave me chills. Seriously well done man. This is awesome. Keep it up dude.
Thank you, will do!
@@JonPumper can i use your music for a cover i want to do ?

Also me a minute later: "What?!"
A man has played this well
On a side, thirsty note: I want to glow up just like Podrick did, daaaaayum!
Segimaru Or the other guy (I forgot the name) at the end of the show. That was the greatest glow up I‘ve ever seen 😂

This song would have been so sad if Brienne, Pod, or Tormund died.
They did.

would have been a better game of thrones
Can i cry? :(
I imagine how we will bid farewell to some of our favorite characters in the next episode, I'm not ready...
I know...and with Endgame coming out this weekend...I don't think my poor nerdy heart can handle it. :'(

I’m not crying
Excellent arrangement. I'll be joining your patreon for this
Can you post piano notes for this?
Working on the arrangement now! Thanks for supporting my work! :)

Wow
Okay, so first of all, my phone is old, decrepit and the screen is smashed up (hence I'm expecting it to die soon)... only after actually analysing the strange goldish-brown mark suddenly WITHIN the screen, I realised it was a creepy face in the video!!! 😅😅😅. Secondly, I loved this beautiful rendition, so kudos to you and cheers for making a synthesia for the rest of us! 🎹💕😄
Podrick isn't creepy though.

Quick Easter egg:
The first part of Jenny Of Oldstones played backwards is the GoT intro
really??? Damn.
What are you SHAZAM?
How do you know????
Maybe we the audience are Jenny and the ghosts are the characters in the show
💛
Круто сыграно, я даже спеть умудрился.
You are right! Especially the first part of rendition - it's something unforgettable.
Will you also make the sheet music available for us? Would be great love this version :)
Just submitted it to MusicNotes - should be up in the next day or so! :)
Please do Rains of castamere!!
Hey, Jon, are there sheets for this?

Hi Jon, what is your favorite TV-show?
Hi Victor! GoT is definitely way up there. But all time favorite probably would go to Avatar: the Last Airbender. One of the most perfectly executed shows in my opinion.

@@JonPumper How about Breaking Bad my friend? Did you like it?
Is there more coming of game of thrones??
This music is royalty free?
So who do you think this song is referencing? Danaerys or Cersei?
The last decent episode of GOT...
Can I cover this on my channel just to show to some friends?
Is this in the same key as to how Podrick sang it?
I think it's one octave higher, sounds it at least
What Key is this in?
Imma need the sheet music uhhhhhhhh asap 😳
I wish that they had the full version rather than just the half that podrick sang
I'm currently learning this piece and I'm at 1:07
