      Animators are using these lines before actual coloring to indicate Highlights and Shadows and/or gradient.
      Blue lines : Shadows outlines
      Red lines : Highlights outlines
      Green lines : Gradient indicator
      And they also commonly fill in those colors, which varies on our individual opinion.
      For example :
      (For the gradient, you don't really have to fill in.)
      Purple : Hair Shadow
      Yellow : Highlights fill in
      Light/Dark Green : Saturation
      Lighter Blue : Others (Clothes, skin...)
      Slight darker Yellow : Skin Shadows
      It really varies depending on you.
      I honestly use pink for accessories and orange for skin Shadows.
      It's very up to you to choose how many fill in colors, outlines you are comfortable with and in which spot you put them.

    Hi sir i'm a big fan of your from Bangladesh, i'm a student of engineering, but i want to be a anime artist, and i love to watch your videos, i learn a lot from your video but i have no device to practice your teaching 💔So please pray for me so that i can manage a device for my self❤️☺️

    • @sleepycritical6950
      @sleepycritical6950 2 года назад

      Yeah equipment is pretty expensive. But my advice is to just get the device you actually want instead of skimping to save because you save money that way. You might want to buy something quick so you can start, but each device has a different pros and cons and changing devices can make your artwork look bad until you get used to it. Better to just delay a little and just get that ideal device of your choice.

      I picked up those tips in this video: ruclips.net/video/lTwMjbD2adQ/видео.html , but there could be others. From what I understand is the red lines represent highlights while the blue represents the shadow. The yellow and green are the fills for highlights and shadows respectively (these may vary in different studios). Hope this helps
