Andrew Freedman is one of the BEST kept secrets in NY. They always have the best parties, art shows, and educational activities for the community! Great place to leave near! This a really nice place!
The 5J apartment was my favorite once so far. It was a one bedroom that was converted into two bedrooms. The livingroom was still spacious, in spite of being cut up to make an extra bedroom. Everything about that unit was nice. The layout made sense, and it was staged well.
@@Avenue72nd I saw both videos a couple of days ago, but I still like the 5J apt better. I was born and raised in the Bronx, and The Grand Concourse hcas the largest concentration of ginormous apartments, for the whole borough. They feel like houses when you're inside. Grand Concourse apartments are just as large and charming as those on Riverside Drive, in the village of Harlem, in Manhattan. I can't bet over how expensive the Bronx is now, but you still get more bang for the buck, compared to Manhattan. The Grand Concourse has a lot of corner grocery stores, and lacks supermarkets. You have to take public transportation or drive to a supermarket, if you live on the Concourse. New Jersey is a stone's throw away, for cheap gas and good supermarkets, but that $15.00 bridge toll is a killer.
The apartments in this building are great! How is the neighborhood? I know there are some places in the Bronx that you don’t want to be. I really like this one. Those built ins are fabulous!
The area is fine. I know that area very well. To me is fine. Like almost everywhere ..if you use the trains exercise caution. The building is on 165th .....you won't be far from Yankee Stadium
The neighborhood is ok, not to raise a family. No parking and no real worthy supermarkets. Take a stroll down 161st to Jerome Ave and come back to this comment.
Wow, I know New York is expensive, but please this one it is really expensive. Can find bigger 2 bedrooms for same price in many better places in Manhattan
Hello there, I’m looking to relocate from Atlanta in two months in May. Is this a rental? Do you only sell homes/ condo, and co-op or do your have rentals as well? Can you please let me know I’m interested in a rental? Thank you for sharing.
@@olofsellsnyc6394 thank you for your response! When I’m ready to purchase or know someone who is. I will reach out to you. These are very nice homes that you’ve shown.
Grand Concourse has some beautiful apartments! I remember when they went for about $300 a month and it wasn’t that long ago!! (Just a few decades lol 😂) Nice apartment but I wouldn’t want to live in that part of the borough at this time!
I agree. Way too much going on. And, I don't mean any thing good either. Honestly, that's an old ugly apartment. I've seen better, thank God, I don't live in the city anymore.
That area is going to be changing fast. It is going to be gentrified because Manhattan is running out of room and the apartments tend to be bigger up there for the money, They are going to do to the Bronx what they did to the Dumbo and Williamsburg area of Brooklyn. Unfortunately it is going to displace a lot of people because the rent is going to shoot up and places are going to sell for a lot of money in the near future. I doubt many landlords will be taking vouchers because they can get a lot more rent from people moving out of Manhattan.
With a bunch a druggies slumming around on 161st. This is for lawyers that work right up the street who don’t have to worry about parking cuz they’re literally walking to work.
The concourse is beautiful in the winter.Summer time is a different story.
I’d say beautiful doesn’t exist in the Bronx 😂

Mediocre at best. My hubby is a cop, and this neighborhood keeps him busy.
