*Fun Fact:* In the early development of SMRPG, there was an idea where Mario originally had a sword, but Shigeru Miyamoto disapproved the idea because swords and other weapons never fits in a Mario game. Instead, the very weapon that Mario supposed to hold became a threat known as the Smithy Gang.
Hence why Mario said no weapons in the mushroom kingdom, only magic or power ups
except for the fact Mario for every mario rpg, welds a hammer, a weapon

You forgot the part where both party members alternate being unconscious because Croco is a slightly OP boss if you don't grind because you've never played a Square Enix RPG before, but otherwise this is spot on!

Having been a huge Power Rangers fan when this game came out, I always thought so too. The fact that one of the bosses is a parody of the Power Rangers later only reinforces that.
