Don't let this boss battle distracts you from the fact that Bruce Lee canonically existed in the Mario universe. *Edit:* Welp, Bruce's presence in the Mario universe is already expired in the remake.
@@raveastto be honest, I’d prefer Little Mac instead of Bruce Lee. It’s hilarious to think Bruce Lee exists in the Mario universe, but frankly Little Mac fits way better in a Nintendo way.
Simple detail but I love how the sprites for Mario and Mallow also adhere to the NES's 3-colors-per-sprite (not including transparency) limit for Mario and Mallow with the black background forming the lines just like the original FF games (red, blue, and skin tone for Mario which doubles as his buttons, and off-white, pink, and cyan for Mallow)
Absolutely love this song, and this is such a fun remix!! Adds just enough to make it feel unique while also still totally capturing that same driving energy the original song has. Never gets old!
I love the game for its original take on battles making them more interactable, but it's still very fun to imagine how it would've looked in a a FF style. Great remix!
As if the music wasn't worth the wait, the videos make it even more amazing. Thanks for all the time you take for these, man. Your videos never disappoint. Hope you're doing well and having a great night
Mate, I love this animation! I love the music even more! Despite what people say, I think Final Fantasy III was a decently good game. Keep making more content! It's pure serotonin!
the cover is great but I'm impressed by the dedication to fidelity in representing the ff3 battle engine (except for the position of the Mario and Mallow sprites! aaaa)
Always loved this song. Great cover, awesome animation!
Never thought I’d see you here. Love your animations!
who you
look its the undertale hell guy very cool
yo lumpy, rare to see you here
get so real
These animations always add so much life to an already awesome remix.
I can't wait to hear this remix on VRC7, VRC8, VRC9, VRC10, and VRC11!
Even the little detail that Mario's Jump gets stronger after each use was replicated here :D
didnt even notice, good eye!!

At least until Nintendo potentially writes references to him out of the remake.
@@metaridley2911I think if they change the Bruce Lee into Little Mac.

@@bekfstman9841 Considering that Link and Samus appeared in the game as an Easter Egg, then having Little Mac mentioned in the game sounds cooler.
@@poweroffriendship2.0 yeah I forgot about them, Little Mac would fit better with the other Nintendo references instead of a random Bruce Lee moment
The level of detail in this is amazing, like the fact Mario only has the hammer by that point, and the graphics on all the spells.

Mario as a Dragoon is pretty funny.

Just imagine if the old 2D FF style games had Mario RPG's Timed Actions instead?
@@Skycrusher That'd be sooo coool. I always thought timed actions were the way to go for RPGs

The original NES FF3 was great!
The DS remake on the other hand... 🤢
Now we just need to add bit crushed versions of Jojo HTFT voice clips
HAPPY UREPY YOROPIKU NE
Do I understand
Dun dun dun ~ what a nice beat 🪘 I really enjoy your work 😊
The animations are always what take these song videos to the next level.
This is still one of the best music channels on RUclips! Thanks for all the bangers

こんなマリオRPGもやってみたかった
サイコーすぎる!
BOTH the cover and the pixel art are great! Most people don't put that much effort, I love it :)
This is awesome! The attention to detail in the animation is astounding
The remake is so easy that I destroyed culex and smithy without even breaking a sweat.
Same was a little disappointed but it was still fun. They should have made the enemies a lot stronger.
It was SO easy that I even stopped at one point to check and make sure I was on normal difficulty :-/
Ohhh yes, been eagerly waiting for this one, and you did _not_ disappoint! This is a great demake of an awesome track!
Man this song is always a bop!
Amazing cover!
You kinda made me want a romhack of FF3 to turn it into SMRPG!
Great rendition of the song. Has he exact same feel as the original, but just with less bits.
You know I've never put together that Mario is a Dragoon but seeing this FF3 style set up. It's really obvious.
Fight Against an Armed Boss 8 Bit Remix - Super Mario RPG (Konami VRC6)
I am HYPED for the new Super Mario RPG game!!!!
Can’t wait for the remake!
Loved listening to this while reading specific Wikipedia articles!
I just got the name.
Mack, and he is on a knife.
Mack the knife
He's named after a classic villain from literature, and a song based on him.
@@MarvinPowell1 yea, can't believe it took me over like 20 years to put it together
god i love this theme, it sounds so damn goofy with a hint of menace.
wonder how its gonna sound in the remake.
The added flair is very cool
Oh man, this makes me wanna play this version (if it existed).
awesome cover!
my favorite rendition of this tune i've ever heard.
Nice Retro Vibes ❤;)
Sick remix 🎧
I see that final fantasy backgrounds inspiration since technically ff4 music is played in the super Mario to game
"Doyoudoyoudoyoudoyouddo you understand?"
Very nice work
Impressive!!
Can you imagine if SMRPG was on the real nintendo Entertainment System and than later on snes 🙂

Chips and Bits Torture, from the Wikipedia
