    Nice one. I only ever visited new street once. That was back in the early 70's, then it was mainly 85''s, 86''s , DMUs and the odd 47 on the odd cross country working. Interesting see how things had changed over a 10 year period

    45106 was the last 45 to operate with BR. Less than a year later, this loco suffered fire damage near Cricklewood, ending its career. Also good to see the 310 that was painted in provincial livery, instead of midline livery, an error at Wolverton works! Also 47238 in distribution livery, which was named "Bescot Yard".

      Ahh interesting, I didn't know this was an error on Wolverton's part!

      @@theroybowdencollection9807 Yeah, I have all editions of Motive Power Monthly, from 1986-1991, and in one of them, it does mention this repainting. It stated that it was released in provincial livery in error. I have to say, it looked nice in that livery.

    To say new St is a 10mph zone some trains where rattled in at 10ish!!!

      One more to come from 1988 soon... then off to Germany in 1989, and then back to the UK in the 1990s :)

      @@111672balernabz2010 Yes I went to Bebra specifically to film a change from a DB 110 to a DR 132. The 132 was actually based at Eisenach.

      @@theroybowdencollection9807 ,first dB 103's where seen at freiburg am breisgau,on euro city expresses to from Switzerland, first time seeing a dB loco cl111 029@innsbruck in 1987,July on an express from rimini heading for Munich,dB loco came on at Brenner on austrian/Italian border,good times..
