- TOTALLY SHOCKED !.. AS TO WHY NEITHER OF US HAD EVER BEEN TO THIS TOWN BEFORE , When we had previously thought about visiting the cotswolds we never expected it to be like this , pics and video's alone don't do this place justice and it definitely exceeded our expectations , We barely scratched the surface having only visited one part ( Broadway) of the whole area and for only a short stay
In this Video PT 1 - (PT-2 Soon) , We walked to broadway tower and cafe , Met some tourists and visited the BROADWAY TRAIN STATION Literally opposite the site !, Unique , quirky and maintaining its character i found this place to be magical , Like stepping back in time to a period drama hence partly the theme for this video
Walks in and around the area were amazing with stunning scenery and local villages and pub stops
We stayed at the Caravan and Motorhome Club site just a 25 min walk from town , A Large and ideally located site which was well maintained and consisted of 117 Pitches

Thank you both for this lovely video, my late wife and I loved and visited this area and the campsite many many times, with our caravans and Motorhome . Beautiful adventure thank you for stirring so many beautiful memories for me ( some a bit emotional) 😢 take care both 🚐👍

That was really nice, Mike and Kirsty. The Cotswolds certainty are beautuful. Living in Bristol, we regularly visit in our Motorhome. Broadway being a favourite.

hi rob yes we really did enjoy it there such a beautiful area , i noticed we were not very far from cheltenham and bristol , it was our first time ever over that way niether of us had been and we thought it was a lot further but we did it in 3 hours , 60 mph was a nice ride across , can’t wait to get back and see more

Fantastic scenery & brilliant photography. The Cotswolds are exceptionally lovely, we haven't managed to stay there yet but we have stayed at Tewkesbury which is the other side of the M5 on our way home ftom Scotland. Really enjoyed this vlog thanks for uploading.
thank you i’d definitely recommend it , we really can’t wait to go back and see more of it all , 3 days wasn’t enough , the walks were amazing and the quaint villages were like scenes from a fantasy type movie

Another brilliant vlog! The Cotswolds are beautiful, we were there a couple of years ago. Also picked up a good tip watching this, taking a blanket to sit on! With two older dogs we have to stop a few times if we go on a longer walks so this is a brilliant idea! Take care x
hi Alana & thanks , we never go anywhere without that blanket , it’s a roll up one , packs small and light , we really loved the cotswolds we had never been there before and really didn’t want to leave , the beauty of the place ! we want to go back and see more of it

Beautiful video 💕. Have been to The Cotswolds many times but not in the camper. Bourton on the Water is pretty too but very very busy. Our favourite village is Bibury - look it up next time you’re in the area.
Sadly I haven’t done much camping this year. My husband died quite suddenly, and unexpectedly, earlier this year and now our little dog has done her cruciate ligament so it’s a long haul until she’s able to use it fully. Still I can watch your blogs and enjoy them 💕

Hi guys hope your all well , i ain’t exactly a train person but i was really amazed at that station and the steam train , amazing engineering, thanks for saying it looked professional , i raised suspicion being there all that time , people were staring 😂 , Actually it did feel strange being away from east anglia , don’t think the van had ever encountered a hill before 😂

Hi Mike. You may remember I asked about your van and I ended up buying a Merc Devon as I couldn’t find one like yours. What a pity we could have swoped notes We live in Cirencester - and use Broadway a lot as our Grandson volunteers on the Railway. I’d have bought you fish and chips and even cycle d to the Chippie in Broadway for you. Broadway is great on Boxing Day when the hunt comes through, quite a spectacle, the club site is open all year round. Anyway glad you enjoyed our part of the U.K.

We absolutely adored it there and can’t wait to return , i could have filmed all week there , never knew about the boxing day hunt will have to look that up and also good to know the site is open all year & it wasn’t as far as we thought it was a nice journey

Love it Ricky seeing you out walking at last ( welcome to oor world ) and up a hill as well but and I'm sure others will say this Where's the chippy run 😂😂 lookin forward to part 2 mate
had people complaining about the chippy run saying it’s run it’s course etc & got boring , fair enough can understand that , but i’ll still be doing it , just a bit less maybe , ay yes the hills!! nothing like your neck of the woods but a slope or slight incline for us is a killer 😂

It’s been said a few times, but you should be proud of the quality of the vlogs you produce. The two of you are great at this and the format works perfectly. Being from the Midlands, we visit Broadway and the Cotswolds fairly frequently. It’s our Norfolk I suppose, but with hills. We’re at Broadway over the new year for a few nights. We visited Norfolk for the first time in September and loved it. Keep up the great vlogs!

thanks julie it was a really nice place we didn’t want to leave , ideal dog walks and beautiful architecture , i use adobe premiere elements , basically a cheaper version than adobe premiere pro & sometimes final cut or iMovie , take care both have a great weekend x

Used to love staying at Broadway guys! Actually lived on Broadway site for the max stay then to Moreton in the Marsh site and then back and forth for 4 months in 2008/9 and some of that time in heavy snow. Beautiful Cotswolds! ❤❤👌
hi paul and wow ! staying there would be a dream come true after what we saw of the area , we said when we was walking in town one day if we could imagine it in the snow , must look like a postcard ! Now we’ve been we can’t wait to return especially to the other locations like moreton and bourton etc

Funny you mentioning Church Stretton my sister lived there for many years and we often visited and we might be going this weekend as she is currently there on a trip back from Australia 🙂.

Oi Frenchies what you doing over in the Cotswolds 😂, to be fair its not hard to make it look nice it does that all by itself, £20 for a hose 😂😂, must agree a fiver is to much for the tower, road or no road we'd have walked much more enjoyable, anyway another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍.
hi stephen yes we left norfolk !!! 😂😂😂 finally managed it , who knows one day we could manage dover and get across that channel ! 😂 £20 hose yes , we had already set up and would have been a pain to move over then back again as we had to be between the pegs on the posh site , i wanted to go to a garden center and get cheap ol bit of hose but no! 😂 lovely place though really did enjoy it and would love to go back and see more of it 👍

We were there earlier in the year because I'm a big father brown fan and wanted to go to the tower but a duff hip put pay to that,we had a great time around the area anyway❤

If you come some of Father Brown episodes feature Arkells and Donnington Brewery Pubs in various Cotswold villages. You can visit and enjoy a tour of both Breweys ( Donnington being particularly picturesque) And the Donnington pubs serve really good fayre especilly the ones around Stow- on the Wold. ( I think there are 3or4 ) All within a short distance from Broadway.

Surprised to see you guys down our way, it’s a shame the club site there is so expensive now. There’s some great local CLs around the area, did you go to Bibury ?
what a lovely area ! absolutely adored it there and can’t wait to go back , didn’t go anywhere else but broadway as we only had 3 days and so much to see just there alone , i think we paid around £166 for 4 nights ! Even CL’s a hard to find under £20 now ! getting ridiculous
