If you get to read my message, so because of wind gust you were trying to land and keep in center line ? and how much AP is efficiant if its done by that. I know pilot take control few feets before landing.. but just for the knowledge .. Thank you.
Jesus! That looked kinda difficult. Why did I assume you just kinda slide in smooth with only the slightest of wobble? The way you had to work the steering wheel was quite impressive. It’s good to see you posting again Lou. I hooe your enjoying the new job.
Reminds me of flat footing my dad’s old Blown 18’ Hondo Flatbottom on the Parker Strip back in the days (89-96) Parker Arizona Colorado River. Great job Captain and as always, thanks for the rad content
After watching several of your videos and working myself for a major airline, my first thought was: if you worked for a passenger carrier, the chief pilot would call you in and start with, "Lou, about your grooming".
The Boss has landed!
That was intense man! 😮
Thats the talent and experience that we dont see behind the doors.

Thanks. Autopilot’s can’t fly on days like that.
Wow. I wonder what that looked like from the outside 🙌🏾
Great job 👌🏾
Thanks. Almost went missed.

Good Landing.. This is why I have the wind turned off in MSFS 2020 🙂 Good to see U Lou. Watching Narita at this very moment.
The EGPWS told the story! Nice control and continuous descent.
She's in your hands! Just amazing control Captain!
Sugoi!!! Awesome Lou! I know how crazy windy day in Narita!
Yeah, this one was a handful! Lou.

Wow! What a difficult job! Especially after a 15-hour flight from London! Great job!
That was your "E" ticket ride right there boys!
Looked like one of the Blue Angel pilots! You got a workout.
Sure did! One of those days!!! Lou B
lol. Miss u Lou.
Miss you too John. Enjoying the 650 flying a lot though.
No crosswind I think...great landing despite rough conditions
No Xwind ? why would he have applied full right aileron on rollout then ?
Hey, my brother, just checking on you and join your videos.Hope you gonna make some more.I know you're a busy guy up in the air
Thanks! More in the works. Lou B

Yeeeeee Haaaaaa! Ride 'em cowboy! 👍🏻
EDIT: Turn your brightness up all the way and you can see the definition of "white knuckles"
In the rear they were all singing 'for he's a jolly good pilot'--- etc !!🤗😎 cool head eh!!nailed it.
Was this footage approved for release? lol Great work !!!

What a workout!
Nice!! Been there, done that - sometimes a real handful there!!
Yeah, NRT on a strong SW can be a handful.
What a fight you had on your hands, Wow
Wow.. amazing how many frequent snd how big the inputs are! Is this your most crazy landing or have you had others that were crazier?
The 747-8 is very prone to podstrikes if landed with a bank angle, nice work keeping the wings level.
Yeah, about 6 degrees and it’ll hit. Good times. Lou B
Extreme laser focused pucker factor few moments on that one for sure.
Got any tips or advice for someone considering a careeer as a commercial pilot?
Whoa!!
LONG TIME NO SEE!!
BRO WHATS UP??❤❤
Just a walk in the park.......said no one on that flight ever, Lou!!
Good times!
How difficult was that for you from 0 to 10?
Where have you been/doing since retirement. Who did you fly with? Missed you. From Missoula Montana.
Flew for NCA for the last 25 years. 5 years at Polar previously. Flying G650s private now. More videos in the works! Lou B
It's an Asian "thing" to applaud when a plan lands successfully... now I think I know why! Cheers!
Lou does thids remind you of the 'Kai Tak Heart Attack' approaches to Hong Kong?... Either was ya were on your game here
Whoa mule, whoa.
Looks scary.
Dang. Bet passengers had a big sigh of relief after landing safely.
Cargo plane, no passengers
so many traffic
Yeah, busy day
I’m looking to become a pilot what’s the best way to start?
That’s a tough question to answer here. Go to a local airport flight school and ask to take a demo flight. Relatively cheap.
@@loub747 yeah I need to schedule one, I’m looking at Delta’s propel program and ATP do you have any recommendations?
Crabbing?
Oh yeah
I really have no idea why my comment got deleted…
Not sure, didn’t see it
@@loub747 I wrote that on another channel this video has more than 250,000 views.
Who was the idiot that said you don't fly those things anymore?
Did we get a FOQA from that? 😮😂
