Ethiopian food is different from entire world. "Injera", kocho, doro wot, shiro wet, ketfo, etc makes it totaly different from other our beloved African neighbouring countries. Thank you for trying our food much love from Ethiopia 🇪🇹
The sad thing is the lady did't eat it in the right way, not worth at all scooping the food from the platter and eating it in a small Plate without INJERA.That is not our culture and the way our authentic traditional food has to be eaten. It looks for me some kind of food in a small plate to be eaten so quick.
Believe me I am from there all food you mentioned no nutrition value. Kochoo the plant is called false Banana what kind of is that no country eat it but Ethiopia.
Travis did a great job eating the correct Ethiopian way eating. Torie we need another video of you eating Ethiopian food the right way using your bare fingers. Great video and thank you for trying our food 😀
You must have enjoyed that food. I am Kenyan and Ethiopian food tops my list. I didn't see Torrie try the anjera, plus Travis ate ethiopian style... Digging in with his fingers. You're all so so awesome!
I love love love Ethiopian food and am having a whole feast next week Sunday, a late Orthodox Easter lunch🌺♥️ The music is making me nostalgic for the country, I visited it once and planning to go back. Habesha Land
Heading to Kenya the end of June 2022 to visit with my wife's family. I have been eating Kenya food a lot since we met. The bread that they have is called Chapati and is like a tortilla but made from flour. Also goat is a big meat there and managu (we grow here ourselves, African Nightshade, bitter but you cook with onions, tomatoes, and spinach which removes the bitterness) Saget is another green we have and also grow. We got the seeds from others in the community and they replant themselves every year. I have tried African foods from different countries there over the years, and it is all good. Even visited Morocco years ago and their food has more of a Halal flair based on their religion. Always interesting to learn food from other countries and cultures.
Hey guys, I am from Ethiopia. I am glad you like the food. Tibes is very popular dish in Ethiopia as well as Doro the vegi combo is delicious also. For next time the sambusa is spicy because it has spicy green paper in it. Beautiful couple. Winter grown so fast❤️
Kenyan here, i love samosas/sambusas, they're pretty much an East African snack. Btw, most African food is eaten with the hands, but of course you have the option of spoons and forks. There are dishes that i personally prefer to use my hands.
Winter is so adorable and smart. It’s ashamed that she was unable to eat the food. She decided to keep herself occupied with drinking water 💦 from a straw. Dad and Mom, it was nice you enjoyed your meal. 💕🤗
I enjoyed watching Winters very cute parents eating that delicious looking Ethiopian food. Kudos to Travis for eating the food in the way Ethiopians eat it. I just loved watching Winter playing with the water in the glass. She is so adorable, a real cutie patootie. I think you should try some Jamaican cuisine next. I think you’d love it. Enjoyed the vlog; see you all next time. God Bless.
girl called the *Injera* buzzerya did i hear correctly 😂😂😂 i was having fun & while you eat i was craving it i hope i go back to my home country to join my fam & my DORO WAT PLUS ZELZEL TIBES my favourite ❤❤❤❤❤ this is the 1st time i see person eating with fork ethiopian food but you to should balance the sauce by rolling with *injera* that way it will reduce the spice & you enjoy the food.
Oh you guys did it😊 I commented for you guys to try Ethiopian food and you went . I love you guys so much I have been here from day one and I love winter. I always show my 14 month old winter and he loves watching her and trying to do what she does…melts my heart they are like friends who never met 🥰🥰🥰

That is a lot of food, it looks delicious, the serving platter in the basket is really cool. Winter is a big girl sitting in the chair. Travis you and Torie are so polite to wait staff you didn't complain about how hot it was in the restaurant you enjoyed the African/Ethiopian food and made it another fun family experience and that's what counts. Winter will have so many moments to look back on, nice video!
Tori the potatoes slide out of ur plate, the menu looking nutritious with color of rainbow. Winter just watching you, winter growing up so adorable and learning ability so amazing. Peace up until next vlog.

Peace out until the next vlog rollout.
Winter is sooo adorable and she’s funny, too! I bet she develops a great sense of humor. The dishes y’all tried look delicious. Thanks for sharing another video.
I’m Ethiopian I’m so impressed by your husband he’s so good eating it with his hand. I’m jealous it’s been a while since I did Ethiopian food. It has been several years. Not a good cook. and there’s no restaurant where I live.
Travis isn't the only one stepping out of his comfort zone, I think I would be hesitant myself. I'm finicky with foods that I am not familiar with. I hope you guys love it! Winter is growing, love her hair! She's such an adorable baby!!♥️
Hello 👋 Travis Torie & Winter I have Nigerian in my family in the Cato tribe. I have never been to Africa before, but would to go there one day and learn more about my family. I never ate Africa food before, I hope you guys enjoy your food.
Glad to see you trying new foods. When we would take my granddaughter to restaurants we would ask for a small portion of child friendly food so she could eat too. Winter is developing so much independence. I see that she had a little boo-boo on her head and it made my heart hurt. Does she have more teeth now? P.S. I love her hair like that.
You guys are so cute! Winter is getting so big! Love it, my granddaughter same age. So much fun. Now she's learning to open the cabinets, and she likes shutting them! Torie.love your top. Great presentation with your food. Looks amazing.
Winter might enjoy Timatim fitfit . It is shredded injera mixed with fresh tomato salad but order it without the chilies since she seems to like eating injera. It is usually served to children and adults eat the spicier version. They also have fresh cottage cheese she would enjoy with her Timatim fitfit for protein and calcium called Ayib. I think it is wonderful you are enjoying international cuisines with your daughter. She will remember and appreciate these family moments and it will help give her a global perspective throughout her life .
Travis and Torrie the food look so delicious , I am glad you enjoy it. I hope the two of you carry home the balance of it Smile. Winter is so lovely and very mannerly Love you all.🧡🧡🧡
Happy Saturday! I love how you try different foods. Thanks for raking us along. The food looks delicious!! Winter looks like she enjoyed her time there. Enjoy these family time moments. Time goes by so fast🥰
Thanks 🙏 for introducing African Ethiopian food...It looks good... Travis you sampled the food with the bread...a lot of food...I would like to try some one day...
I'm African Travis and Torie, southern Africa to be specific, Namibia to be exact. I see Ethiopian food on TV mostly but I don't understand what's going on on that plate. Lol. Thanks for sharing the video
You've to try it the right way; you would love it even more! After washing your hands, just Scoop up meat/ sauce/vegetable etc with the injera. With each scoop, when you switch & mix in between the sauce/meat/vegetable , the blend taste is phenomenal.
I miss out on a lot of different foods because of the way it looks I’m glad you and Travis are stepping out of your comfort zone to try something you’ve never eaten before. Winter is probably going to enjoy as well she’s a good eater.❤️
I just love how you guys show us all those different foods. Something always new. The food looks really good.🍽 Can't get with that bread utensils 😅give me a fork🍴

IT's also eritrean 🇪🇷 traditional food
@@keren7127 Ya sure!
Believe me I am from there all food you mentioned no nutrition value. Kochoo the plant is called false Banana what kind of is that no country eat it but Ethiopia.
And you are being silly. Every culture has food that makes it different from any other in the world. Self patronizing is typically Ethiopian?
I am one your follower from Ethiopia🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹 Thank you for tasting and introducing our food God bless this family
Travis did a great job eating the correct Ethiopian way eating. Torie we need another video of you eating Ethiopian food the right way using your bare fingers. Great video and thank you for trying our food 😀

Am glad you specified which type of African food considering the vastness of the continent and the cuisine
If only people knew how vast it is. It's so ambiguous when people leave it at just Africa. Glad they specified Ethiopia 🇪🇹
Yeah, so true. It's Ethiopian. So good. 😊
Winter is such a happy baby. She was so funny with that glass of water. The food you all ordered looked fantastic!!!
I like the fact that the waiter knows the food very well …big ups to him
