No one ever mentions the end of this scene on how he got so excited and got a high when talking about going to where Vampires congregate lol. He's so excited to kill them.
He was criminally underutilized in this film. Tony Curran is a great actor, and really has presence. He could do menace, but also a lot of emotion and drama without much dialogue - he could have been a "noble" member that Blade admired somewhat despite himself, a vampire that disliked the modern degradation (which showed in his only real dialogue at the start of the club scene) and kind of admitted that Blade had a point. "It's a great pity that we weren't on the same side earlier Blade, most of them (indicating the regular vampires) do deserve your sword…". "I could see myself standing besides you, purifying the degeneration we've allowed ourselves to become". He could even fall saving Blade, giving Blade a moral pause. Having him fall during the sewer battle would have been better, perhaps even triggering the bomb after getting infected "I die pure" / "I die true to myself". [And even giving Blade a cryptic warning of the coming betrayal?] [And have you seen him as Van Gogh in Doctor Who…, he can _act]_

Despite being in on the reaper experiment Reinhardt disobeyed Damaskinos's orders to bring Blade back alive to use his blood to create the perfect day walkers because of not only Reinhardt's passionate hatred of Blade because of Blade's skin and Reinhardt's skinhead background but Blade owning him repeatedly. That made Reinhardt bitter enough to try and kill Blade and get him killed against the overlord's orders. Reinhardt may have been a very capable and skilled fighter and elite soldier against your average or lesser vampire or humans in hand to hand combat, same for Chupa and the rest, but a joke compared to the Daywalker and no match.
If you want to know why Wesley Snipe's blade is so cool and impossible to imitate, it's the smile. The cocky smile of the badass who know he is a badass and isn't cool enough to play cold.
This was a double whammy at both Reinhardt being a neo Nazi skinhead vampire and Reinhardt was Austrian. Although Hitler was German. Was basically Blade calling Reinhardt Adolf (Hitler) because Reinhardt was a white supremacist vampire.
@@castortroy7704 no he wasn't because if that was the case that black vampire would have never been on the team so that's foolishness about it was a racist rhetorical question it had nothing to do with color it was animosity because blade was a half breed vampire had nothing to do with his complexion
@ZamirMalachi6354 Reinhardt's "can you blush?" is an old school racist remark against black people. In fact, Wesley Snipes asked Del Toro to add it because some racist said that to him. That's why Blade calls him Adolf. It's clear throughout the movie that Reinhardt doesn't like or care about anyone in the team, so team having some minorities doesn't mean he can't be racist lol.
One of the best movies made I wish he would do one more!! Blade just turning his back to the bloodpack shows he's not scared at all!! Vampires are sexy why can't they be real 😢
This is a great scene. We all know that cliche moment when the badass has to force enemies to cooperate, but usually it just ends with his beating them in a fight and they just agree to obey. What I like about this is Blade attaches a BOMB to his head. Now the threat is always there.
Funny this is the bomb Blade attached to Reinhardt's skull as an equalizer to lessen the inevitable likelihood of betrayal by the vampires in the Bloodpack and Damaskinos and the Shadow Cabinet, was originally a dud/fake and non-functional explosive device built by the secret hidden traitor on Blade's team aka Scud, who betrayed the Daywalker early on from the start two years prior shortly after Blade saved, rescued and recruited Josh/Scud as Blade's weaponsmith in Whistler's absence and imprisonment by the vampire motorcycle gang, and Blade's so called friend and ally because of survival, self-preservation and jealousy of Blade's father-son bond and friendship with Whistler. But Blade knew Scud was a traitor and a familiar and spy working for the vampires as one of Eli Damaskinos's familiars acting as a spy and double agent in Blade's ranks of Blade and Whistler's vampire hunting team. Blade replaced the original dud with a true functional live wired explosive device with a new detonator which Blade designed with a two-press detonation system that armed the bomb to explode with the first press of the button and detonate the bomb with the second press of the button. Blade played stupid to bait Scud into confessing his betrayal at the end in Damaskinos's fortress and lair, pretending to try and detonate the bomb on Reinhardt first and after Scud admitted his treacherous, deceptive role as a rat, a spy, double agent and familiar working for overlord Eli Damaskinos, Blade revealed he knew Scud was a traitor all along to see the satisfaction of Scud shitting his pants before Blade detonated the bomb with the second press of the button. Having faked trying to press the button a second time on Reinhardt to lure Scud into confessing to his deceptive nature and actions before blowing his former ally, teammate, assistant vampire hunter and weaponsmith to hell. Reinhardt was also not only leader of the Bloodpack team, secondary leader and co-leader second in command to Nyssa Damaskinos as the daughter of the centuries ancient pureblood vampire overlord/dictator/tyrant of the entire vampire Nation and head ruler of the Vampire Nation's ruling vampire House of Damaskinos, the Shadow Cabinet, over all the world's many, countless vampire houses across the world both overseas in Prague, the Czech Republic or the United States of America, Russia etc., and Reinhardt was also Damaskinos's henchman, flunky and personal elite guard outside of the Bloodpack team hence why Damaskinos allowed Reinhardt to participate in the Reaper experiment on Jared Nomak, his own genetically engineered and cloned son, patient zero, which obviously went wrong. Both Dieter Reinhardt and Scud were two of Damaskinos's many henchmen and minions, Reinhardt being the pureblood vampire soldier and leader of the group second in command to Nyssa, Damaskinos's henchman and guard, while Scud was a traitor renegade turncoat human turned familiar/human servant and slave of the vampires.
Self confidence dominates everything even being a good or bad person. Blade turns his back to the team and he insults Reinhardt. If the team would of attacked blade he would of wiped the team including Snow man
Snowman was the only individual vampire warrior who would've given Blade a challenge individually and given the Daywalker a run for his money in a martial arts swordsmanship duel battle. Notice the Bloodpack members pull their guns and weapons automatically when Blade drew his silver stake to provoke Reinhardt into attempting to attack Blade with his own silver stake, but Nyssa motioned the team to lower their weapons and stand down and they do so instantly on Nyssa's command. Reinhardt was the leader of the Bloodpack, but Nyssa was the primary leader of the Bloodpack above Reinhardt as the daughter of overlord Eli Damaskinos. Reinhardt being a mere underling lower ranking footsoldier and second in command/co-leader of the group under Nyssa.
They did this movie perfect. Blades tatts, his hair his mercenary black garb. Blades coolness on being tested by the wolfpack and out showing the wolfpack who's really in charge here.
I like how Reinhardt falls for the same trick twice. Blade spins the thing for a while, then slaps him with the other hand and literally says: I can do it again. At this point, you'd think Reinhardt would catch on that Blade's initial hand trick was just a distraction, but nope. Dude just gets slapped again. No wonder their elite teams can't take Blade down. They're terrible at what they're supposed to do.
Snowman was the only one of the group that could've given Blade a good fight. I like Ron Perlman, so he gets a pass. Didn't know Vince was a vampire and a illegal street racer. One of the guys in that group reminds me of the lead singer of Simply Red...
Ron Perlman aka Slade from Teen Titans(2003) and Matt Schulze aka Vince from fast and the furious & fast five had the best firearms/firepower in Blade 2 Snowman definitely badass coulda given him more air time but is what it is
Ron Pearlman has great presence for a character actor. It's almost like he's a supporting role even when he's not, cause of his great ability to capture the moment.
“Lemme Guess, You’re All Going To Put Your Little Power Rings Together And Call Captain Vampire Yelling “It’s Morphin’ Time!!!” Or Something Fucking Hilarious Like That.”-Blade to the whole Blood Pack
It would be boss is Snowman was Blade's sidekick or partner. Theyre both quiet, masters of blades/swords and kill vampires. Plus seeing Wesley Snipes and Donnie Yen fight is awesome.
Snowman doesn't kill vampires just reapers and he was meant to kill Blade anyway. But yes if he was his partner as a another daywalker they'd be unstoppable.
I absolutely agree. I do get that they're original objective was to take out Blade(good luck with that) and the reapers were still a unknown enemy for the most part.

@@camboallen He was playing along truly a mastermind
@@hoodiek6802 what was the point of playing along all the way up until he tried to blow up Reinhardts head though is my point that was some movie cheese shit
@@camboallen Well scud is a mechanical "Genius" so why would he kill him just yet? The holy grenades that him and whistler made were because of him. Whistler couldn't figure out why it wouldn't go off. Plus he used him until he wasn't necessary to have him anymore.
This film shows how smart of a tactician Blade is. He prepares for anything.
I can’t recall another actor who was as perfect as Wesley Snipes for a role!
They gave him the role & he took it to the next level
The only person that showed blade respect was snow man
True marshal artist
Bunch of people saying it's f@ck you kinda like Italians do that chin thing for the same thing.
Yeah because Wesley Snipes and Donnie Yen were the only real martial artists there.
and funny thing is the he was probably the only one who could beat him
@@ginoportugal9203 none of them could beat him. if he could do that, they'd be following him instead.
I love Snowman's salute. One warrior to another!
Priest is also in the movie Underworld. He is the "bat" vampire with his fully formed Warewolf brother.
Konstantinos Fasouletos Marcus Corvinus is his name in that movie. A certified badass!
Konstantinos Fasouletos He is also one of the warriors in The 13th Warrior, nice cult movie dat one

I feel like snowman and blade would’ve made a deadly duo.
I agree i was mad as hell when snowman died
Damn right.
@@michaelmcfadden2810 He got snuck at that.
Thing is blade is overpowered compared to regular vamps in this movies, he would be a liability for blade at the end of the day
@@oluwadamilola6233 I don't think he is overpowered. I think the level of his training and expertise is just so far above any of the vampires that he encounters.
No one ever mentions the end of this scene on how he got so excited and got a high when talking about going to where Vampires congregate lol. He's so excited to kill them.
Notice how Blade walks around and turns his back to the team. Goes to show he really isn't afraid of them at all.
Hellboy, IP man, and Marcus Corvinus joining the blood pack?! Woooow. Hahaha 😆
They got Vince since They need a Driver and Dom Torreto picked Brian who was a cop over his own boy.
I never realized Corvinus and Priest were the same actor until you pointed that out. I live finding out random things like that lol
T' Troublemaker also Vega from Street Fighter lol
And daryl from the walking dead as their mechanic and gadjet specialist lol
And a matured Bill from Bill and Ted
Whistler looking like that's my boy lol.
BlueSkullX nice one xD
Ha ha
Blade waisted no time setting an example. Loved it.
Snowman actually seemed the only respectable member of the BloodPack
Better squad than the Suicide Squad...
squidward squad exactly

Any squad is better than Suicide Squad.
They all die, so they're not a better squad.
waaaay btr and more interesting
And only one of them ended up with a bomb in his head
When you realize the Priest is lowkey Marcus Corvinus.
im sorry but i misread the Corvinus , Corona lol
when i realize Ip Man was there as well
and then you realize that Hellboy is in the house too.
The priest is Vision OMG
[And even giving Blade a cryptic warning of the coming betrayal?]
[And have you seen him as Van Gogh in Doctor Who…, he can _act]_
This whole scene is just (bends the arm back) WOOO!
I loved this film so much, what a memory
This scene is so many layers of understated coolness..movies these days with twice the budget try too hard with over the top effects and forced 'humor'..

“Adolph here gets the first shot” classic
That line had a double kick to it. It was a jab at Reinhardt's white supremacist/neo Nazi background and his Austrian descent.
@@castortroy7704 I think it was because of the "Can you blush line" because of his dark skin
@@johndarius18 that's what I mean.
@@johndarius18 Not to mention Reinhardt was in on the reaper experiment as well.
Favorite line from blade movie. BLADE 1 is you out your dam mind!!! Man I love it

Guillermo del Toro knows how to direct comic book characters in live action
He copied the slap scene from the western movie "My name is Nobody"
If you want to know why Wesley Snipe's blade is so cool and impossible to imitate, it's the smile. The cocky smile of the badass who know he is a badass and isn't cool enough to play cold.
"Adolf here gets the first shot." Hahahahaha 😅😅😅
Wesley Snipes is a legend.
Wesley Snipes is one of the most underrated action stars of all time.
One of the best movies made I wish he would do one more!! Blade just turning his back to the bloodpack shows he's not scared at all!! Vampires are sexy why can't they be real 😢
He handled this like a real man.
AH MAN.
He’s no man
"Me and the gang were wondering if you could convince Del Toro to make a third Hellboy movie"
It’s not in this scene but afterwards Whistler calls Reinhart “nipple head” and that shii cracked me up 🤣

I think Its short for Chupacabra
I don’t care what anybody says Wesley snipes played the hell out of blade in all 3 movies
He did that on purpose SMH
Not all of them... Snow Man was pretty badass.
I mean, imagine how hard it would be to handle that in real time in real life. Most of us would have ate that second slap too lol

The leather is so real in this scene you can hear every bit of moment from it.
Ron Pearlman has great presence for a character actor. It's almost like he's a supporting role even when he's not, cause of his great ability to capture the moment.
When you remember Blade being all dark and broody but watch Blade and remember he was just having fun the whole time lol
I think this is the best of the trilogy
Blade so fast even the pure blood vampires couldn't see his movement
“Lemme Guess, You’re All Going To Put Your Little Power Rings Together And Call Captain Vampire Yelling “It’s Morphin’ Time!!!” Or Something Fucking Hilarious Like That.”-Blade to the whole Blood Pack
Thats sound so fucking Blade to me.
"Now you got an explosive device stuck to the back of yo head" LOL
Perfect Blade. He did such an awesome job, hands-down.

But yes if he was his partner as a another daywalker they'd be unstoppable.
it always makes me smile seeing Ron Perlman being slapped around
The "Bloodpack" were killed off too easily. This team should've been awesome!
