As a fearful and trembling Christian, hearing that a thimble of faith brings the fullness of Christ....just what my heart needed. I know my take away is a personal (as in dealing not with a child but my own self) application. Been in the Christian walk (crawl) as an adult for 30 years....constantly need to hear His love is bigger than my little faith. (Lord, I believe...help me with my unbelief!)

My girls and I are struggling through healing from extreme spiritual abuse that was perpetrated by their father, my husband. We are separated. My oldest 12, is really drawing away from The Lord, she doesn’t think He’s trustworthy, because He hasn’t answered her prayers or healed our family (yet)…it’s a struggle getting her to church…I don’t know if I’m doing it right by making her go? I don’t want her forced into relationship with her Savior…but I don’t want her alone at home either…she always seems to do better once she gets there…prayers appreciated…

Thank you, Chad. Two of my three grown children have "fallen away," but I can say without a doubt they both have a seed of faith, and lately I'm seeing my daughter's ears opening up to God calling her name. This video is so much comfort to me. (P.S. God is constantly reminding me of that last part you said!)

Thank you for this, Chad. I so needed this. My oldest daughter was a dream when she was younger but then started cutting herself, tried suicide, and fell into transgenderism. She has cut me off completely and turned her back on God. It breaks my heart and feels like the biggest failure of my life. I am heartbroken. Thank you, Chad. I so needed this.

Please, please, please do a video about your backsliding and repentance.
What was the lead up to it? How long and to what degree did you slide back into sin?
What prompted you to come back to faith and what were those first days, weeks, months like?
What scriptures made you feel secure about God receiving your repentance?

And if you have done this before, forgive me for asking, but have you ever covered the baptism of Christ being a ceremonial indication of the changing of the high priest hood? It sounded good but am having troubles substantiating the claim @@chadbird1517

Thank you, brother, for the encouragement. But I am not sure whether I agree with regarding water baptism and salvation. I am immerse baptized to proclaim to the world that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.
But I believe water baptism has nothing to do being saved.

    • @chadbird1517
      @chadbird1517  Год назад +3

One cannot force these things. Pray, of course, and whenever possible, speak words of encouragement and grace in Christ. We are not in charge of how the Spirit works, so we just speak his Words and let him do the work, when and where it pleases him.

I do enjoy your videos brother, but I'm not sure I agree with this one, or at least I have a question concerning its validity. I have known a number of people (some family) who have left the faith and have even spoken against it, and have died affirming their disbelief. (There are well known preachers like this too) They never came back. Where was God's wooing there? Was it just ignored?
    Blessings

My children know what the real church is (born again believers as the body, Christ as the head) and what it isn’t (institutional church).
In knowing that, they know they can fellowship with Christ at any moment and have church whenever they choose by fellowshipping with Christ or any other believer.
They know that they don’t have to go sit in a pew and listen to some jack-wagon who claims to be a biblical authority, while needing your $ to keep him from having to get a real job.
My kids know they can grow in the knowledge of Christ without a “pastor” who takes a wage in the institutional church, that Christ is their high priest and we have His word in our hands.
This is a sales pitch to keep you and your children in the institutional church where the overwhelming majority don’t know and certainly don’t teach the true gospel of Christ.

I prefer these three or perhaps four teachings from Jesus Christ that your soul may be saved and to let Jesus take care of your other family members. 1. Mathew 10:34-37 “Don’t think I’ve come to make life cozy. I’ve come to cut-make a sharp knife-cut between son and father, daughter and mother, bride and mother-in-law-cut through these cozy domestic arrangements and free you for God. Well-meaning family members can be your worst enemies. If you prefer father or mother over me, you don’t deserve me. If you prefer son or daughter over me, you don’t deserve me. 2. Luke 14:26-27
The Message. One day when large groups of people were walking along with him, Jesus turned and told them, “Anyone who comes to me but refuses to let go of father, mother, spouse, children, brothers, sisters-yes, even one’s own self!-can’t be my disciple. Anyone who won’t shoulder his own cross and follow behind me can’t be my disciple. 3. Luke 14:33 The Message “Simply put, if you’re not willing to take what is dearest to you, whether plans or people, and kiss it good-bye, you can’t be my disciple. 4. New Living Translation 2 Corinthians 6:17
Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, (especially family members) and separate yourselves from them, says the LORD. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.
