    Matthew 22
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

@@joelpostma8242The sky kingdom will be on earth. Christians have this weird misconception that we "go to heaven" and live "in heaven". That's not at all what the scriptures say. First, there's a 1,000 year earthly millennial reign where Jesus sits on a literal physical throne in Jerusalem on the present Earth. And then a new Evans and new earth are created and once again we live on earth. Earth is the home designed for humans. Earth is home. Heaven may come to Earth, but earth is where we will live.

This is true, there is an interesting translation from Malachi that is traditionally used to discourage divorce, the scripture gave divorce because of hatred and abuse.
Chapter 2 14 Yet you say, ‘Why?’ Because Yahweh has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, though she is your companion, and the wife of your covenant. 15 Did he not make you one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? Why one? He sought godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. 16 For if you hate and divorce”, says Yahweh, the God of to Israel, “they cover my garment with violence!” says Yahweh of Armies. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously. 17 And you have wearied God with your words. Yet you say, ‘How have we wearied him?’ In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in Yahweh’s sight, and he delights in them;’ or ‘Where is the God of justice?’

I believe what Christ is seeking for us to understand during His sermon on the Mount is how the Father is Spirit, which means we must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Christ expounds on this during His meeting with the Samaritan woman at the well, when He said: “God is spirit, and his worshipers MUST worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24
Notice how Christ doesn’t say that we might, could or should worship in the Spirit and Truth, He says we MUST! This is because following religion, any religion, including; Christianity and Judaism will only sanctify our flesh or what Paul calls the circumcision of our flesh and the works of the Law. Religion is all about checking boxes and building our faith in our own faithfulness to fulfill our religious rituals and traditions. But the Father seeks the heart! Hi Chad, can you, or do you have a lecture on 2CV. I’m an illustrator and have not made any further illustrations of Jesus because many reformed camps say it’s a 2CV, equivalent to making an of the golden calf that people may worship as an image of the Lord.
Now I don’t illustrate icons l, but narratives in the Bible.
I also noted that even in the Holy of Holies, graven images of Cherubim appear a top the Mercy Seat and other natural things engraved in the accessories.

In your case, you both broke the covenant of marriage, but now it is most likely unreasonable to think all the wrongs can be undone or corrected. It is not so simple as returning stolen goods. You obviously are aware of your error. Find grace in God as you confess your sins and with the grace of God continue to follow a better path in your present marriage than you did in the past.

In Mark 10:11 there is no exception clause. "And he said to them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her". So I understand that Jesus is not siding with the school of Shamai but along with the spirit of Matthew 5 is intensifying the meaning of the law. I think it is reasonable to understand that Jesus is meaning by pornea (zanah) illegal marriages such as incestuous ones like King Herod. Or like when Ezra forced the men to put away their foreign wives. Jesus is therefore saying there is no excuse, except for the illegal marriage which is by law void anyway. This might also parallel the decision in Acts 15 when the council requested the gentile believers to refrain from pornea, which should be obvious unless referring specifically to the forbidden union laws of the Leviticus together with the laws about blood and that polluted by idols (meat?)

This clause is not found in the Gospel of Luke. Deuteronomy 22 makes it very clear that this is dealing with the accusation against Mary in the Incarnation of the LORD! Any other reason other than no blood on the sheets the night of a man's wedding is not a clause of exception. Any man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery! Period!

Can't keep them if you refer to your messiah as jesus! That's the name of the beast in this era.

Jesus is not even his true name that his Father gave him or his mother. Who are we actually worshipping? That what really scary 🤔. He said in Matt 7:23 depart from me i never knew you. Are we called on a different person? We know a person by their names why aren’t we called on his name not some transliteration name.
