@@tacotom3492 they are waterproof and get the job done. I'm pretty sure I would've been fine with spending less money and getting some redwings instead.
Update: I feel like I could've gone one whole size down. It feels like the boot may be a little too long at the front. I would definitely do the foot measurement chart that is displayed on their website and follow it.
Everyone fits shoes a little different and has different preferences. 0.5" - Minimum excess space in length. 1.25" to spare? Each full size is 1/3" (One Barleycorn, an antiquated unit if measure). So you could have likely went down 2 full sizes, but would have likely needed an EE width. Makes me wonder how much extra length you have in your other shoes and if you have been choosing shoes based on width and buying standard width "D" shoes. In my case: White's (4811 Last) - 10EE Brannock Machine - 11E Allen Edmonds McAllister - 11.5E Asics Gel Kayano 29 - 12D (These are my running shoes so I could easily use a half size smaller in casual use)
Brannock 9. On the whites website i am borderline as well between 8 and 8.5. Website says 8 but I now know that an 8.5 fits way better with the 55 last. Definitely use whites directions to measure width with a tape measure and compare to chart. The rec 1/2 down from brannok for 55 last or lesser arch is correct, for higher packer lasts 690 and 695 I am 1 full size down.
I have Millwoods. Sizing down did not work for me, but White's was good to send out a new pair in my correct size. I love them. Breaking in 3 pairs of boots now.😎
@@GillBearToe I would have got these boots but I found out it’s a Ford a six month waiting period because they are made to order… My feet are hurting so bad so I just bought 8 inch Thorogoods for $240. They will be here Friday. I also went with soft toes instead of steel toes because I’m working on hard concrete floors but indoors. When I worked in the oilfield I used red wings with steel toes I never had a problem with my feet but now I’ve neglected my feet a little bit and went chip in or shoes for the last five years and my feet are in pain I need to go back to boots where I have protection and comfort in the car finance to stop a manhole on somebody’s ass 😂 You just don’t get those with shoes
Update: Boots are extremely comfortable and had no break in period. It feels like walking on clouds.
How you feel about them now ? Just goty CDL and driving mixer .. Want good work boot steel toe

Comment deleted but follow chart to a T?
@@tacotom3492 to a T? What do you mean?
To a t means to follow exactly!

Yes, they were good at replacing mine and getting a size down.
Millwood run true to size ? The fit narrow or wide?
I’m looking at these or the perry from whites
I like how the tall laces wrap my ankle because then I'm lifting the boots with my entire leg instead of only my foot and they feel lighter.

@@MudMotorsMax I was told the same thing but they only took one month 👍
Seems like maybe you could get the Thorogood round toe for half the price?
honestly yes
Tip, invest in a tripod, makes the video so much better. Thanks for the informative video.
No need. My 3rd leg helps with stabilization anywhere I go.
These boots are way too big for you length wise. Your toes shouldn't have that much clearance.
Correct, they are a half size too long.
форма просто ужас
