Her sewing skills (starting at 8:19) are incredible. ...as are the unmatched artists in every aspect of these boots. Two videos in two days?! Thank you so much.
I didn't know they add an extra layer of leather for safety toe models, that's so awesome! I've been anguishing over the decision and wondering how much toe box intrusion vs external bulkiness it would add. I'm ordering a pair of riding boots that I can wear on my bike and also into my workshop to do wood and metal work. This has answered so many questions, and that approach is so awesome because not only will it help space your toes in from colliding with the metal edge, and the outside surface out so it doesn't look so anatomical (lol), but even better, it just adds that extra leather to the side of the foot where abrasion during a fall could be of major concern. This ticks all boxes and makes me so happy to see. I'm also going to do the lineman patch just for some added rub/pinch protection against the bike and between the frame and rear suspension. Thinking 10" height, all tan work leather, all eyelets with the lace-in station zipper, steel toe, hnw moderate profile with dogger heel profile. I figure the v100 lug just cuz beef. Though I love v-bar I think I feel better with the thicker sole and screws for hard abrasion stopping points haha. Come up with a screw solution for v-bar and I would go for it but I just don't think it gets any tougher than the OG. Thanks for my daily boots, can't wait for some serious workhorses!!!
No matter how many times I see you guys hammer a transcontinental railroad's worth of spikes into that heel block, part of my brain is terrified I'm going to knock a heel off.
So there looks like an extra layer of leather on a safety toe boot, to possibly fill in the space/height difference of the cap under the leather upper. How much stiffer does this make the boot? Do safety toe boots break in longer? Excellent looking boots by the way.
Ahahahahahahahaha, ok liar. You need to click "I've read and understand lead-times" before you can order the boots. If you didn't check their lead times it's your own fault. So it's in fact YOU who is the snake here. Liar.
Pacific NW style. They started out making boots for loggers. Prominent heels for digging into the ground and tight around the ankles to keep em on. They offer a lower heel and a more moderate arch, which would be my choice if I were buying a pair.

That's an awesome looking pair of boots.
100% the best quality boots made in USA and probably the world
I love when you can see the leather sole and heel stack

Thank you for doing a steel toe video.
I wish my "quick ship" boots where actually quick ship.
The filming of this one definately had a professional feel to it, not that the others have been bad.
To anyone new to these types of boots, they are much heavier than anything you're used to and require a very long break-in period.
Just the way I like it
Well i hope this is MY STEAL TOE CONSTRUCTION BOOT IT'S 24 WEEKS SINCE MY ORDER!
Love you guys :D
Very nice
This boot has an extra lining is this upon request or something you do on all saftey toe boots?
I assume it's for the safety toe. I don't see anywhere how you could request that online
I have two totally different sizes of feet does nicks accommodate that?
Yes they do it’s a longer process but they do custom fitting
The glue pots always look like volcanoes.
Lol yeah
Can't wait to get mine, my current boots are about ready to die 😭
Super 👍👍👍👌👌👌👋👋👋
Is it just me or does that look like a composite toe rather than a steel toe...
Galvanized probably
might be, steel toes are too dangerous.
But why toe insert looks plastic?
It might have a plastic type coating.
Does anyone know the function of the coved heel? Never had boots with that feature.
Cuts down on weight while giving you a full sized base to walk on
Excelente
So are they fibreglass?. Or carbon fibre?. Didn’t look like steal.
BTW they dont tell you that it takes 18 - 24 weeks for your boots to arrive until AFTER you finalize the order. snakes.

They look like witches shoes, why so much heel and so small around the ankle?
