i can see absolute parallels, to the farm where i rent a farmhouse, the farm is running sheep and cereal , and all these problems crop up in australia too, except badgers
I think it is entertaining, all cast are wonderful and cant wait for season 4...And look into a freeze dryer for processing your mushrooms and herbs, flowers etc...just might be more profitable...good luck to you all and thanks for your honest creativity. I thoroughly appreciate and enjoy you all...
All farmers must plan from year to year how best to go about improving their income by trying different crops or animals and so on. That is the only scripting that I can see, just planning different ways to improve the viability of their farms.

I actually went upto Diddly Squat shop about a year or so ago with my brother also being a fan of the show, it was actually pretty quiet, then a huge tractor pulled in and past the shop with Kaleb in, I managed to snap a picture of the back of it, then Gerald drove in with his van, stopped got out and ask if anyone wanted pictures, my brother had actually just gone to the toilet before that but was lucky enough to get back in time to see him as he was leaving after myself and a couple got a picture of him, also there was not a film camera in site, they were just getting on with the stuff they needed too.
I could sit and watch it all day, so entertaining.

Scripted or not BRILLIANT
Obviously they have to set up cameras and sound for things like planting a field or an office meeting but the things that happen in the farm on a yearly basis are just what happens. If a crop fails it fails surely no one thinks they make it fail for tv ratings.
Basically anything Jeremy Clarkson touches is a success and this has that touch. Interesting and informative and funny. I mean you mention country file but you couldn't pay me to watch that.
Who cares? This only show i know were i can see real life stuf, not some brainless "stars" making shauting, gosips and drama without reason. Thus Jeremy show all people stuf about farming were 95 percent of population would not even think. But now they know. As a contractor who work with many companies and hoby level beekeeper i can tell that i have now diferent view on farming stuff and learned alot from this show. Keep up Mr. Clarkson!!!!
I think people should just watch and enjoy you don’t need a script just let the cameras do there job all they have to do is follow then edit. I love it keep it going guys and good luck to all of you .

I wish people could just take things at face value and not be so quick to critique and judge. I often wonder what sort of life and achievements these people have to make them think their negative comments are of any use or value. The programme is what it is, and as its so popular surely that speaks for itself. So, if you don't like it .........turn it off ...simple
