I’ve noticed a trend with these secret bosses. That boss always ends up being an important character in the next game. After Bowser’s Inside Story, which featured Bowser X as a secret boss, Bowser ended up having a large role in Dream Team, and after Bowser Jr was featured as the secret boss of Dream Team, he ends up being an important character in Paper Jam. I believe you have to beat every boss in the arcade mode, and once you do, the “Boss Medley” will appear. Dry Bowser will be waiting for you at the end of the medley.

Yes. My guess is this boss is supposed to be set after the game. It makes sense because the Koopalings exploded and M&L Bowser fell off the side of his castle to his doom. Bowser apparently is good friends with Bonechill because he keeps giving him new chances of life each time he's destroyed.

+hamstrman It's like every boss rush/marathon/medley/whatever. If you lose on any of the bosses, you have to start over from the beginning, there are no checkpoints
At the Battle Ring, I think you MUST beat the game, beat all bosses in it and a new "boss" (Not exactly) appears called "Boss Medley", which is basically all the bosses you faced in the Battle Ring. After Kamek and Paper Kamek, the final ones of the normal Battle Ring, you fight Dry Bowser
I was 10 when this game came out, the fight was so difficult I couldn't get past the first few turns 8 years later on this day, adult me showed this monster whose boss
I was 14 when it came out, turned 15 a few months later and I could beat it first try but I already had previous experience from all the other M&L games, tbh all their secret bosses have this level of difficulty

How do you get to battle Dry Bowser? Do you have to like do something or what?

Bowser X's HP is 7155 (9999 for challenge mode), and I believe Bowser Jr's HP is 4096 (Which is the same as Culex in Super Mario RPG)
