Honestly this game felt like it had the best approach to the koopalings. Instead of having them be the main bosses of every area you fight them in groups in a few random spots throughout the game and all of them at the penultimate moment. The added dialogue also made me really love their personalities. Mario games need more boss dialogue.
Fun fact; Wendy is the only koopaling that hasn’t been the last koopaling fight. Morton, Iggy and Lemmy in paper jam, Larry in superstar saga, Roy in color splash, and Ludwig in most games

I feel like the main challenge of the fight is to be avoiding the massive trio attack, considering just *one* hit from their giant spherical object (chomp or ball) will stun you and most likely kill you. (Especially with them pulling the trampoline counter right the hell out of nowhere)

While this is nothing compared to how amazing the final boss of this game is, this whole gauntlet of boss battles with a ton of attacks was pretty enjoyable to fight.

For the others, they fall in lava. And in gba version, they have a groan. YS: they have X eyes and hold a white give up flag. HM: its instant dissepearing. But when stomped 3 times they do fall down to a depper floor. M&L: SS: make hurt sprite and bleed poping stars and dissepearing. NSMBW: in 3rd hit, they bounce while shaking legs and arms. When hit something, they bounce once more but less. And fall offscreen. They do have a scream. NSMB2: the same. Tough when hitting ground they go to left and go offscreen. NSMBU: same as previous. P&D (or whatever the name is) they just dissepear whit an...death sound?? This one: they groan, they bleed poping stars, and dissepear. Color spalsh: they fly offscreen weirdly.

It's an all or nothing fight. Their attacks insta kill you if you don't dodge them all. Not only that but each attack uses a paper guard.

Not likely because their battle strats might’ve clashed. Especially with the final 3 where they only use the area attacks and blow up everyone at once (except the Mario bros)

I like that all 7 koopalings after they're defeated, they just explode afterwards like they did in the remake of Superstar saga for 3ds
I like to believe they and kamek respawn after they explode.
I love the koopalings their fights in the rpgs are really interesting to me and i love their personalities

Evolution of deaths: SMB 3 at 3rd hit. They roll in they're shell and get away, tho dropping the wand. SMW: ludwig morton and roy: on 3rd hit. They strech and getting tinier and poping into smoke. For the others, they fall in lava. And in gba version, they have a groan. YS: they have X eyes and hold a white give up flag. HM: its instant dissepearing. But when stomped 3 times they do fall down to a depper floor. M&L: SS: make hurt sprite and bleed poping stars and dissepearing. NSMBW: in 3rd hit, they bounce while shaking legs and arms. When hit something, they bounce once more but less. And fall offscreen. They do have a scream. NSMB2: the same. Tough when hitting ground they go to left and go offscreen. NSMBU: same as previous. P&D (or whatever the name is) they just dissepear whit an...death sound?? This one: they groan, they bleed poping stars, and dissepear. Color spalsh: they fly offscreen weirdly.
