I was just stating that a lot of it seemed lazy for the most part, even if some parts like the changed double jumping sprite animations did get some touching up on. While I do still believe it could have been handled better, that's not stopping it from being an enjoyable game. (Though this was a comment from 2 years ago that I pretty much forgot I ever made, which makes me wonder why you decided to reply to it now.)
If anyone is discouraged by the difficulty of getting an S rank in the boss medley, there is a way to make things easier for yourself but it takes some work, nothing overcomplicated though. What you need to do is buy 99 boo biscuits and then go to bowser's castle, then look for a shiny paper broozer. Then... knock out all enemies except said broozer. At the point, you just spam boo biscuits to force the broozer to attack you, hopefully throwing barrels. There is a slight chance of said barrels dropping beans, and this may be painfully slow for grinding BUT if you have enough persistence, they will drop the farmer boots, which make all enemies have a chance to drop beans when you KO them by jumping on them. This applies to weak enemies as well as strong, like if you jump on a group of those round, spotted enemies, you can get a ton of beans without even having to enter in an attack. Keep in mind that the farmer boots have a very small chance of appearing. This is thankfully compensated by the cheap price of boo biscuits(5 coins) and that they throw multiple barrels at once, which are quite easy to counter since you can just use both of your hammers at once and it doesn't have to be one at a time.

I don't know what it is, but dry bowser always appears in eerie ways. Like when bowser was burnes alive in new super mario bros, and coming out of the dark pits of hell in this game.
Bowser in the battle ring is at level 48 which is higher then that of his original counterpart even before transforming into Shiny Robobowser who is at level 40. Therefore in order to surpass this boss in terms of level you would have to be at least level 49 which is ridiculous. Might as well use all those beans you have been saving up because those are your stat boost substitutes. Therefore judging by the fact he defeated Bowser so quickly I am going to assume he is at around level 60. Either that or he used a lot of POW beans.
I just finished this thing with an S-Rank today. Avoided all attacks and bosses only moved 5 turns, plus 100% excellent attacks. The only thing for me left to do are the Papercraft rematches, which are going to be really hard to S-Rank...

Lol dang I beat this with Mario and Luigi at Lv 39 and Paper Mario at lv 38. I just use POW gear and battle cards that make me take 0 damage and increase POW and SPEED and decrease Dry Bowser's speed and level.
Osvaldatore Speed saved my life so many times. At least this way I would hit way more than Dry Bowser, I could counter his attacks pretty well but one hit from him did a TON of damage lol.

wtf my game was so strict on grading my first attempt :( i had 100% 7 12 1 0 and it was just an A Rank. However i managed to surpass and improve my grade (after what felt like a day of bean farming), now my record is at: 100% 1 hit of damage recieved 5 enemy turns 0 items 0 fainted

+Flyguy 535 yh it can be very frustrating since you have to beat every boss again and ahain. I really grew hating those papercraft battles because of the battle ring. For me, the kameks were more troublesome than dry bowser.
Rank up Bonus. First time brings max copies to 8, which can be chosen once you reach leaf rank. Second one can be chosen once you reach star rank. That brings the max copies to 10. Other useful rank up bonuses include quick item for the Mario Bros, allowing them to move again if they use an item first, once per turn, quick copy which allows Paper Mario to move again after he maxes out his copies, casual bros/casual trio, which reduces FP cost for bros/trio attacks by 1/2, and quick exp, which lets your team earn 50% more exp when you win battles.

I would say fighting dry bowser is not that hard. It is difficult but not as really. At least dry bowser don't steal your items. Just like other x bosses.
To think about it, the Kamek Duo seems like a X Boss, even in Normal Gameplay!

+Internet Explorer yh pretty much. I am faster than every boss this game has to offer, except for the Kamek duo mario may be faster than both of them but the rest of my team lacks the necessary speed to so aswell.
It is quite easy... You only need to worry about kamek duo and dry bowser.
+Flyguy 535 yh it can be very frustrating since you have to beat every boss again and ahain. I really grew hating those papercraft battles because of the battle ring. For me, the kameks were more troublesome than dry bowser.
At lease this is better than DT's Giant battle medley, still complaining? Man, this boss medley is much better than the one in DT.
Is anyone gonna mention that Dry Bowser entered by LITERALLY COMING FROM HELL?

Rank up Bonus. First time brings max copies to 8, which can be chosen once you reach leaf rank. Second one can be chosen once you reach star rank. That brings the max copies to 10.
