In retrospect, CUT and PACK feels like one of my weaker mods in design. While it seems cool in concept, letter texts as a mechanic is already hard to design puzzles around. Adding some interplay between text blocks and letter texts not only makes it harder to decheese a level, but also invites so many edge cases that feel arbitrary in its resolution. TURNINGDIR is one such case. The reason that you need those letters to pack it is because by default, PACK figures out which text to produce based on the text's internal name (Ex: "deturn" for turn counterclockwise), and "turningdir" is what the text is internally named. I could override this behavior, but it's hard figuring out what letters should be packed to form turningdir, if at all. Same goes for omni text, and whatever other non-conventional text other mods come up with. It's just a mess overall.
maybe if UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT/(turning text) had modifier symbols it would make more sense, like FALLUP being represented as "FALL🡱" and being able to move the arrow. and a turning-text SHIFT would be like "SHIFT⟳". and then maybe you could call the turningdir "UP⟳" or "RIGHT⟳" (any of the directions)? but yeah, for sure it has the feeling of being a mess anyway
Fun fact: the clockwise turn text is just called turn, but the counterclockwise one is called deturn.

If you did not like turningdir
you won’t probably like a level later in the pack
o _o
The turningdir level is kinda stupid, I think they were trying to hint at that because the levels name is dir situation but its still a stupid level
They must give better hints and the fact that it’s a mod block makes it impossible to know since it has no info anywhere
I'll think about more stuff for my levelpack idea 📝
@4:20 I think the you would cut into "YOU UP"
Or the text cwn be rotated and the U can be a C or an N
i tried it and it turns in to " Y O U"
4:01 another cbanyway
