Thanks for showing this process. I saw this kit on Dave Masons website some years ago. You're the first I've seen use it. Great job! Thanks!
You are welcome. Using a Lathe is always the best first option. But we have got great results using this kit for unfriendly lathe jobs.
Terrific video, thanks for sharing.
thank you!
i got a springfield saint victor with a horrible crown and it shoots terrible. going to try this.thanks
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate all the support. We are now over 100 subscribers and growing in under two weeks. Let's keep it up.
Great job!
Thanks for the visit
How much to have this done ?
$125.00 for a cut and crown, and we get the firearm back to you the next day.
which adaptor is that you're using on the drill to mate to the cutter?
It's an adapter that Manson Precision sells on their website. Thanks for watching.
While you did an excellent job I hope you put a patch in that barrel to catch all those filings when you first cut it and filed it.
Yes, Thanks for pointing that out. It is important to slide a patch down in the barrel to keep shavings out of the action. I don't always catch everything on the video. Thanks for watching!
Nice video sir
Thanks
Nice thumbnail pic!
Thanks Just learned how to spruce it up some.
Have you ever chalked your files?
Yup, It was more of a mess and a hassle than a benefit for me.. So I kind of gave up on it.
@@Turnbullcustomguns I only just learned of this at SDI. You are the first pro I've asked. I've bought the chalk and brushes (I forgot the actual name) but have not tried it yet myself. Best, Kevin
@@Cageey1117 When you get into it a bit Let me know how it works for you.
Mus-zak was an unneeded distraction...
This would've been a great video if it didn't have background music. WTF
I was going through a video making experimenting phase, what can I say... Not much. It happens to the best of us.
