I'd run it with a KN drop in filter. I did that with my 2.0T Santa Fe. The way Kia/Hyundai intake setup. when you go after market it sucks in too much hot air. It's going to heat soak your intercooler. You can run the air duct to the CAI. It might help.
I put a k&n drop in filter in my 2.0 sonata and honestly after that im not even considering an intake, the drop in filter makes the loudness of the spool perfect
The start up is my favorite part. Also when I'm driving and the blow off sneezes people look like wtf the intake is amazing you can hear it sucking in all the air. 747 Boeing lol
@@that_619_dude4 I did not get it tuned yet. I'm waiting to get a few more things before tuning it. Look up Wagner Intercooler for our kias it adds like 11 HP. It's like $600 though
Took me like 25 minutes. You have to use crazy glue but small amounts so it doesn't run or drip that it a 15 foot light always start near the lighter port since your connection is at the lighter port. I got it on ebay like $15 it's called El Wire. They deliver fast. I have another one I want to install it somewhere else just don't know where yet. And thanks when it's cold outside the cold start sounds even more incredible. It was summer when i did this video.
Bro HPS just started making the 3" SRI for the 2.0T..been trying to get my hands on it. And don't go to k5os bro it's a total rip off. Join "K5 Optima Nation" on Facebook for friendly help and ideas
@@MurderMarket_OSRS I'm going to search that Facebook page thanks. And I love love it. Under load and spooling it has the most beautiful sound like an airplane then at the end it sneezes and just gives me a hard on lol. Even at 80 or 100 mph the sound is still there. It turns heads and is nice and loud.
Oh SNAP!! You're right. It does sound like an airplane.... An RC airplane.
Lol, the phone doesn't do it justice

I got scared when heard same noise on cold start, but now I know its cuz of that blow off valve or intake. Made me calm:)
