It's funny that you say the BB is quite low even in the high setting. I look at other 160-170 bikes and it seems quite high! However after owning it, I F*ing am slapping my pedals on everything!
@MTB MAG English yup. I added a volume spacer @84lbs with the float x shock and and 173psi from 165psi. Still use close to full travel but all the chunk for me, few drops.
Wouldn't get you to the top as quick as a full fat ebike but my god would it get you down faster. Super capable bike. Super fast. Light. Be great for lifting over fences ect
Very good and thorough review. I'm sure you've ridden the SL. Could you notice the effect of the extra weight on the Kenevo when climbing? Perhaps that extra 3 lbs makes a difference?
Hey Alex - we have ridden the SL. The geometry and suspension is just so wildly different that it's very much an apples to oranges comparison. To be honest, it was some time ago that we rode the SL, but it didn't feel all that much different in terms of the weight on trail. Put it this way, we've tagged along with some buddies on analog bikes and climbed with the bike turned off a couple of times and no complaints!

Yes, it seems to sit into its travel a bit. Handling is really good though!

Shorter cranks helps a lot on ebikes. 155/160 as the cadence is more important than the leverage. Also better for cornering imo
Would this be a good bike for a bikepacking adventure in the mountains?

$15,000 specialized, lost their minds. I would rather buy a Husqvarna 501.
that bike is a turtle climbing no good
