On time 6:28 you say that the wifi router once receives the data would use MAC address to forward the data to your node. I doubt it the router unit would do that, the wifi router would forward the message to the switch module and then that would forward to the end node. @Neso

6:27 you said wifi router forwards the data by recognizing the MAC address of the device. Didn't you say Routers rely on IP addresses for forwading data? I'm confused

Routers use IP addresses to forward data across the networks. Inside a LAN, devices rely on MAC addresses.But for communicating with a device that is outside of this LAN requires an IP address.

MAC addresses are not unique and cannot be unique as there are not enough bits in a MAC address to guarantee uniqueness . A MAC address can be changed . This is used when you get two devices on a local network with the same MAC address. You cannot have two devices on the same local network with the same MAC address for obvious reasons.
