So I’m curious for everybody out there who says LeBron is stat padding tonight even though he didn’t score that much, what else is he supposed to do once he goes down by more than 15 because do you want him to sit on the bench and say OK that’s enough for the night? Or do you want him to try to get back in the game? I don’t understand why people think he’s not supposed to score or rebound or assist to help his team. The stat padding is something that the media came up with

I think people say certain players stat pound because when they get used to great players they say that because there used to there greatness which to me isn’t fair because if for example Isiah Stewart who is absolutely terrible at basketball got a triple double with 30 points people wouldn’t say he’s stat pounding. People would say he did incredible, win or a loss, because people are not used to seeing him be really good. The idea of stat pounding just for stats is very overrated to me because of course every single player stat pounds anyways because that’s how you win, by scoring, passing, everything. If NOONE stat pounded then that team would lose the game scoring 0 points so stat pounding is a good thing because that obviously helps you win.
