    I started paying attention to basketball around 2001 or so. I remember the Lakers doing their 3-peat, David Robinson's last ride (go Spurs!), and LeBron James entering the league with incredible hype straight out of high school. He was getting coverage as a junior in high school during the Lakers' 3-peat, so he's been in the public consciousness for basically the entirety of my basketball viewership. A period of over 20 years.The fact that he's still a legit number 1 option at this point is absurd.
    I don't know if this was his last year of being capable of that -- the ankle injury makes me think that it's not if that's what he can do on one ankle -- but it's going to be a sad day for the NBA when he can't be the man anymore, and even more so when he retires. I may not always like the things he says (the whole Hong Kong situation comes to mind as probably his biggest failure), but he has led a scandal-free career in a scandal-filled league with class and incredible basketball skill. Man's been a beast.

      "lebron and vince theyre the 2 greatest in game dunkers ive ever seen" you state your opinion in factual manner.. That is much different than Lebron being your favorite. It's all good to appreciate the power and attack of Lebron and if that is the style you like then thats great. However, you said Lebron is arguably the greatest. And he is not.
      also, that bleacher report article is garbage, so Lebron is the 2nd greatest bc he been dunking throughout a long career or lying that his head was above the rim in the early years? How bout you do a youtube search for a top 10 of MJ dunks and a top 10 of lebron dunks. I'll tell you one of them you'll be saying that is so beautiful and graceful or how did he do that, or look at that hall of famer on the poster? The other just looks like the same dunk for almost 20 years, ie this video. Lebron certainly attacked the rim on his dunks but why isn't Westbrook at the top of the list then? (fwiw Dominique is probably the best power dunker, had the power, the hops, and the flash.
      Just a little bit more, What makes Vince great, the elevation, the fluidity, the arsenal of moves, the power, and the majestic beauty of all those things combined into one. You watched pure art when he dunked. And what was Vince doing? He simply elevated what Jordan had already done. We saw the same things with Jordan, and then somehow Vince above and beyond what Jordan did.
      With Vince as number 1, he's simply a better version of what Jordan did. So Jordan at the 2. Nique or Dr. J at the 3/4.

      @Otaku_Akuma 10 месяцев назад

      If you're grading on a curve of how impressive the dunk is in comparison to how deep in his career LeBron was it definitely has that argument, however I think his 1 of his top 3 dunks wasn't even on here. Most impressive dunk of all of his dunks is most certainly his dunk on Nurkic which is on here, I'd say dunk number 2 is his 'Statue of Liberty Dunk' over Tim Duncan (which is the one that isn't on here), number 3 can either be the dunk you're referring to or it could be the one where he murdered JET. Which feels so weird that 3 of 4 or all 3 of his most impressive dunks involve him either ending someone or ether-ing someone. Not that Tim Duncan's career after LeBron facialized him or that Tim didn't believe in him or anything but at that point in time anybody that was still a LeBron doubter had to be at least impressed with the fact he postered one of the most decorated big men in the game at the time.

    The man is 6'9 250lbs but he has great speed, agility and ball handling skills to get by defenders to be able to go to the rim. Then his athleticism takes over for the highlight finish. The only one I've seen close to that size with those attributes is Ben Simmons but he does not attack the rim as often.
