Can You Stand Up On A Bodyboard???

Why not?
I did the same by almost 10 years in the 90s.
But i used a surfboard strap on my ankle.
In 2000 i changed to a surfboard.
As now i have 10 years of skimboard too, i'm thinking about buying a bodyboard again to use my skimboard skills.
I think it'll be really funny.

Can you stand up on any body board or do you need a special kind? Of course I know you can’t on a cheap styrofoam one, but what about the others?

It is possible to stand up on a normal bodyboard yes, but there are also specialist stand up bodyboards out there.

They need to make bodyboards specifically for standup: round nose, stiff bottom with 4" twin fin/humps, rear leash plug. I'd buy one.
