When you have a server up and running, you need someone to be able to have administrative control to send commands to the server. You need a key, known as the rcon address, to be able for the server to accept commands sent by a player, which you can submit by copy and pasting the rcon address/password into your in-game TF2 console. After doing this, you can send commands to do stuff like change maps, configurations, number of rounds, etc. To do so just type in a command like "changelevel koth_sawmill" but with a prefix of "rcon" So the final command should look like: "rcon changelevel koth_sawmill"
great video
Tried filling the players with bots but the server ended up looking more like an MGE server than a competitive match. How to fix?
Both teams have to "ready up" to start the match
Im confused, how does rcon work?
