Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury has 5 weird title screen levels that the game loads once the logo appears on screen. Normally Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Peach run through these stages and the player then presses start to load the game. But what if we could explore these worlds? What kind of strange things do they contain? Let's find out!

1:15 The use of double digits is pretty standard, even if there's less than 10 units it's just easier to write it like everything else.
It's much stranger that they started with title_demo_01 rather than title_demo_00

and if there's more than 10, starting the first few with 0 helps place them in the right order when sorting alphabetically, since "2" comes after "10" in that case, but "02" comes before

It's interesting that 3D Land and World don't let you play the title screen level, cause I immediately think about Super Mario World and how you can play the title screen level in that
I think making the demo level in SMW a chunk of an existing level was done to save on assets, mainly. If you make Mario die there, like with using a Game Genie code, you can actually be in the demo version of the level, which isn't the entire level, but just a portion of it.

This is actually quite common in Nintendo game files, for what I've seen. Many icons in Breath of the Wild, Skyward Sword HD, and many more use file names like "item_00" and "item_01" when they are the only icons for that item. For a real example, the icon for the Beetle in Skyward Sword HD is named "uc_beetleA_00" while the upgrades to the item are "uc_beetleB_00" and "uc_beetleC_00." There aren't any other icons for this item, but they still all use the "00" at the end. I think using double digits for things that don't have more than 10 revisions is just a way to standardize all file names within the game so it can look a little cleaner, or it may be for some other reason. Just thought it was an interesting thing I could share ;)

Hi, Swanky! I have a video idea along similiar lines to this one, but in Mario 64. During the end credits, it reflects what stars and Cap Boxes that have or have not been obtained or activated. Uncollected stars are yellow, collected stars are blue, etc. So, what would happen if you could re-insert the control to Mario during the credit sequence, and had him collect the stars he missed, or interact with enemies and objects?
I did it with cheats, it just kicks me to the castle without gui and music.

As a programmer, using double digits in names is good practice. 10 is not a high number and once exceeded, it will mess up the sorting. It may be "Title1, Title10, Title11, Title2". Even if you never intend for your numbers to go this high, it's a good precaution.

in 5-7 there is a castle in the background at the end try getting there
One time I had the title screen glitch. They all went and ran into walls, and one got hit by the goombas. When Mario tried to enter the clear pipe, he just fell off the platform.

I have a question what’s the maximum amount of stars you can get in super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2? I’m not talking about the in-game amount I’m talking about like the max possible before the game crashes. Not like changing the star count like actually collecting stars

Hey, remember that time you did a video of the 3 hidden 1 ups in spikes lost city and how you can only get it by bumping up a second player, well I did it on my own and all I had to do is double jump a few times and boom I'm a gamer legend. Could you make a video discussing how I did it and say that it is possible to do it without a second player, also my 11 year old son did this, so if he can do this anyone can.

so i've been playing super mario 3d *land* for years and years.
this has never happened before...
i jumped into one of those purple mystery warp blocks, and in the corner of the level, i saw something i had never thought existed.
There was a P-wing.
i thought they only existed in other games, but here one was, an actual power up, well not really.
So i went to a hard level and when i tapped the icon, a prompt came up that said "Do you want to fly to the flag pole?''
curiously, i pressed a for yes, and a strange rainbow animation occurred, and i was brought to the end of the level.
Has anyone seen this before, and if not I implore you to find this.
