This song is about a certain character from the manga BERSERK. Anton Kabanen (guitarist) is the founder of the band, and writer of most songs. The majority of this bands songs, as well as his new band "Beast in Black" are about the same manga, of which Anton is a huge fan of. Also my youtube avatar image is from BERSERK too!
Noora is so versatile. Her clean singing is awesome, her rasp is awesome, her scream is awesome. From the same album, Black Ninja has all three within the space of a verse/chorus.
Great reaction. Even though Battle Beast is a fairly recent discovery for me, they've become one of my favorite heavy metal bands. They're also amazing live. Just saw them live, along with Nightwish and Apocalyptica, last weekend in Oulu, Finland.
I think I heard this album when it just came out. I have a good friend that I was staying with at the time who loves cheesy powermetal so we'd play this after shitty days at work. "Let it Roar" was my favorite track.
Best band i ever heard and this song is my favorite.. Nooras voice is amazing.. The best voices in metal comes from Europe.. Noora, Floor, Elize, just to say some.. Love them
Battle Beast is campy, in the positive meaning of the word. Going overboard and having fun is their style, and I think it goes well with power metal genre, which is kind of cartoony fantasy stuff. Battle Beast released the ast single of their new album less than a month ago: "Master of Illusion." I think you would love Noora's vocals in that too.
I loved the fact that they talked more about the song, than what it says and they sing in the lyrics. where does that composition come from,, castle in the sky, Black Angel, white Hawk, but the same is the spirit and soul. all that KINGDOM means, but that's what I liked your point of view from that side, thank you, I follow you friend.
