Emergency Dispatch Protocol System

Broward County’s Regional Public Safety Communications Centers are moving towards utilizing Priority Dispatch’s protocol based systems to process emergency calls. Currently we use this system to process medical related calls. Beginning in the Fall of 2018, we will be using this system to process incoming fire related calls and by Spring of 2019 we will use it to process police related calls. This video will show you how the new Protocol System will standardize call taking practices and benefit you as the field unit.
