Everyone in the Philippines can speak Tagalog because it is our national language and included as one of our subjects in school. 😊 I never walked too much in Coron town. I always hire a tricycle to go around or eat in a restaurant. 😊
Each region in the Philippines have their own dialects but every Filipino knows how to speak and understand Tagalog but the ones in the provinces they are used to speaking their own dialects. For Palawan I think they speak Visaya but they do understand Tagalog since it is being taught in school as our national language.
Just a minor correction it's not a "dialect" but rather a PROVINCIAL LANGUAGE also tagalog is not our national language but FILIPINO you can check the national constitution for that and the description of 'dialect' which all linguist abhor, I know you have no ill intention but it's better to clear this misconception that's long overdue
you, your father and your brother are like triplets :) Enjoy and stay safe always guys...Alina always hungry, carrying the spoon the whole afternoon :)
Tagalog is Philippines’ national language as well as a medium of instruction in school together with English so everyone can speak it. However almost every province also has a dialect.
Yes, you 3 boys looks like brothers. Your father is still young. Where is your Mom ? Glad that you all meet in Coron. Coron is a nice place, after you will visit several islands on your boat tour around Palawan. Enjoy your boat trip going arouns several island beaches and compare the difference.
oh wow!! the 3 of you look so very much alike ...yes, JUstin's daddy looks so much younger and so nice to see your family getting 2gether there in Ph...
It was nice bumping into your travel blog. I am a local but I had no idea about commuting going to Tagaytay, thanks to your other video now I know how. As for Coron, never been there but it's great to see the place through your blog. You Justin and Alina are a a cute couple! 😍 Another great place to visit and explore is Baler. I have a tour challenge for your brother Jason, can he find the lone Countess of the Philippines? If he does, we'll treat him to a sumptuous family home dinner when he visit next time. Let me know if he will be up for the challenge. Let's call it The Gwapo Challenge 😊😊😊
Justin you look way younger with that Haircut, looking good, your Girlfriend is also Beautiful, I'm happy you're reunited with your Dad and Brother, I see the resemblance of your family and also your intelligence and compassion and kindness and Amazing sense of humor, where is your Mom, how come she did not come?.. Justin it is not called Languages, there is only 1 Langauge which is Pilipino...But there are 175 dialects depending on the region and Provinces. And 8 major dialects (Bisaya, Bikol, Hilingaynon, Ilonggo, Ilocano, Kapampangan,Pangasisan, Waray, including Tagalog which is mainly spoken in the Luzon Region.) . Palawan is in the Visayas Region so they speak and understand Bisaya and Tagalog. Palawan also have their own dialect. It's complicated because there's 3 Regions Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and 7,641 Islands. Mindanao also speak variety of dialects. So English is the major Language, Tagalog is not the national language repeat it is Pilipino combine all the dialects it is "Pilipino" and "English" since it is taught in School from Kindergarten to College. So Justin that is a brief lesson for Philippine langauges 101...Any questions reply to my comment...☺
Justin, my guy! I'm glad you got to spend vacation with them. I should say, your dad looks very young and fit and definitely looks just like and older brother to you guys! Coool!!!
When you say kamusta.. every filipino can understand you dont have to worry if they can understand u or not.. some pinoys might speak other lamguage but they can surely unddrstand tagalog :)
Im from pangasinan and my 2nd language is tagalog, i think most of those people living in province here in PH their 2nd language is tagalog, so if you know how to speak tagalog, people will understand you.. stay safe and enjoy your stay bro 🫰
Hi Justin and Alina thankyou for exploring Philippines we hope u guys enjoyed every single day here in pinas, i suggest to go in Ilocos Sur to explore the beautiful land of the ilocano. Godbless you both!♡
justin and jason are so similar face..so look a like with his father....ur father look so young...hope u enjoy ur vacation in palawan..new SUbscriber her..
Your father looks like your older brother or an older version of you. So much resemblance even with your brother and all of you have a cute smile. The three of you together looks like 3 brothers.
Quite a number of resorts in the Philippines do that kind of key chain and I dislike it so much because you're gonna be travelling a lot and you'd be forced to bring that big ass key chain all over the islands and when walking.
english and tagalog language and dialect are common in all parts of the country. Tagalog being the national language and english being an international language. both are the medium of instructions in all schools all over the country. Every region of the philippines though has each its own unique dialect.. tagalog, ilocano, pangasinense, visayan, etc.. to name a few..

It's funny how justin says chicken manok many times. It's literally chicken chicken hehe Also, the rotisserie chicken is litsong manok. Although both are cooked in charcoal, inasal is a flavor. not all grilled manok are inasal.
@@project_where oh cool. For us, inasal is the marinade/flavor. The manner how it is cooked is just called inihaw so that there is distinction between sweet chicken bbq and inasal.

your dad looks so young, it’s like he’s just your older brother, actually the 41:30 part I think it’s pronounced as REH-AL came from the Spanish word “Real” (reh-al) means Royal because there are lots of Real Streets in the Philippines..we don’t pronounce it as “real” in English
How I wish to point your dad to Andok’s not too far from the hotel that roasts their chicken really good, but going to those roadside grillers means helping small businesses which what tourism does in the countryside. Good choice then. And seeing Dad’s reaction seeing them for the first time was epic, as you have the same recollection of your previous travel in Cebu when you were still practically a kid.
You have a resemblance to your father & brother. I do miss the Inihaw na manok. We have that here in the States & we call them "Rotisserie Chicken" . They are sold at COSTCO or other Supermarkets but the taste is not the same as the Inihaw na Manok. I think the Inihaw Manok is basted with Lemon Grass which makes the chicken smell fragrant & lemony when grilled.

Palawan in general, speaks more Tagalog/Filipino than Bisaya. It's part of Southern Tagalog Region by the way.
Palawan is 100 percent speaks Tagalog.🥰
