@@bryangjerding921 wish I knew. I use to have a picture saved of the package I bought. I’m not home to find out either. If you get the suction cup just measure the width of the holes it needs to go into. Might be a little trial and error, I think my first buy was too short.
Glad we watched because we were considering one. After watching we realized that it will not work on the Momentum due to the collapsing side ladder as it lays flush on the side of camper when in transport. I would have had to send it back. Thanks!
That looks like a great & easy set up! Love how you took cover from the wind by sitting the one of the bays! The wind there did a good test on the flag pole for sure! Thanks Chasing RV Sunshine 🌞Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya
I had one three years and while in Colorado with there winds that come through without any warning broke our pole three times in one season. I want never own another one of those.
Hi Chris, after seeing the small flagpole with the suction cup, I decided to create one and try a mod for a tv mount in the same manner. Was wondering if I could mention you and your channel in my video as to where the idea came from and also put a link to your channel.
Nice review. Personally, I'm not a fan of the light above the flag shining down on it. I'm thinking about mounting some sort of light on top of the camper shining up at the flag. What are your thoughts on that?
No flagpole and no flags. Probably best for us though most likely we will end up losing it. We hear ya on the battling of the Texas Winds lol, dealing with that now. Happy New Year - Jay & Jessica -
Hello friend, I fly the American flag but i’m at my house. thank you for supporting me. I’ll be following you and catching up here and there. thank you.
Flag pole buddy. Bought a pulse light II from you the same time I got the flag pole. Can't find the app to set the lights... any help would be appreciated
Hey Chris, Megan, and, Corbin! One would think the 16 foot flag pole would be more rigid causing it to not bend so much in the wind. But, what do ‘I’ know! Hope y’all had a great Christmas! If I remember right you had to go back to work before Christmas Day...bummer. Stay safe and thanks for the review! God Bless!
Hi Chris, after a couple years of using the Flagpole Buddy, how has it held up? I am particularly interested in knowing how the mounts have held up to the elements. My concern is that they are plastic and would crack/break due to the elements. Right now I am using an extension pole and makeshift mount but want something better and more permanent. Thanks!
Hey thanks for watching! I’ll say that the mounting brackets have been absolutely fine, no issues, no signs of wear. The pole itself has broken one time. We use it 24/7 though and bring it in when it’s sustained winds of 20-30. When it broke they sent a replacement piece for free. I think they now have a more robust fiberglass pole than mine too. Hope that helps 👍🏼
We've seen these in a lot of rv show exhibits. Been thinking of we need one or not.... Lou thinks when we hit the road, it'll be a good idea to locate the trailer when we're out boondocking. We haven't discussed what type of flag we'd put up but if it was up to me.... I think I'd go with an (1) American flag 🇱🇷 (2) Cuban flag 🇨🇺 & (3) a Rainbow flag 🏳️🌈.
The flag is named after Christopher Gadsden, a South Carolina delegate to the Continental Congress and brigadier general who designed the flag during the American Revolution. He eventually became the commander-in-chief of the Continental Navy. (I’m also named Christopher, as well as from South Carolina, and also a Merchant Marine) so I find that interesting The rattlesnake was a symbol of the unity of the 13 colonies at the start of the Revolutionary War. Gadsden intended his flag to serve as a physical symbol of the American Revolution's ideals. The flag has been described as the "most popular symbol of the American Revolution” Its design proclaims an assertive warning of vigilance and willingness to act in defense against coercion. This has led it to be associated with the ideas of individualism and liberty. I’m a huge history buff and love what the flag stands for as a sign of freedom and to never allow yourself to be controlled by a tyrannical government or autocracy government. People now a days misconstrued what this flag means and don’t understand it’s history. Too many people think it’s some kind of racist or gun toting ideology flag. Hope this helps you out. Thanks for watching.
Oh that’s a bummer. It’s crazy windy in Texas too. We full time and leave it up 24/7. It held up to 35-40mph constant winds straight for two days one time. I was super impressed. But then one day we had 50mph gust and forgot to take it down. A section broke and the company sent a new section for free 👍🏼Thanks for watching
@@WhyWait yeah:( Darn it. But luckily, I called the renter (owner of the toy hauler) *2021 Forest River Vengeance 29ks* and he said he'll throw in a hitch flag holder, but I'm not sure if it would hold that 22' flag pole. Any recommendations?
Funny you ask because a section actually broke the other day. Winds were sustained at 25+ MPH for awhile and gusts over 35 MPH. We contacted the company and the next day the shipped out a new pole. Great customer service.
Love the flag pole and light. We saw one at camping world and wish we picked it up now. Nice review.
Been very impressed with it!
@@WhyWait Quick question, what size U bolts did you use for the suction cup portion of your smaller flag holder?

I believe this is the 1st RUclips video that I have seen on a flag pole. Good job on the video. ~ Reggie & Cheryl.
Haha I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not?
This was the exact video I was hoping to find. Thanks for posting this.
Sure thing. Hope it helps. We’ve been happy with ours, flying it full time!

Thanks. We are getting wind blown again today real good but it’s holding up nice!
I call the RV basement my workshop or man room sometimes 😂😂
Great flag pole review, fly those flags proud!!!

I had one three years and while in Colorado with there winds that come through without any warning broke our pole three times in one season. I want never own another one of those.
Only thing I did different was I put the velcro horrizontaly around the holder rather than up and down vertically. Easy install. Thank you!

Hey new friends! Love the flag pole! We can't wait to catch up with your videos.
Great. Thanks for stopping by and watching.
Nice setup with the flag pole. Gadsden flag, love it!
Yes sir!
We have been wanting a flag pole. Thanks for sharing!
For sure. They are kinda fun! Now we need a collection of more flags to fly!
Van Life With Gina sent me your way. Nice decoration😍
Thanks!
Wow! It did a great job keeping the flags up! Very nice! :-)
I was surprised with that wind buts it’s good

Nice easy setup. Thanks! Is it always windy where you’re at in Texas??
Yes...😂 Well it definitely seems like it most of the time anyways. Not sure what the summers are like though.
Good review!
Thanks. Appreciate it

Yup back at work. Luckily Santa came and paid us a special early visit 😉
Being a fiberglass pole it’s meant to bend with the wind and flex.

Fly all three! We fly two but you can get three on there or opt for the 20ft pole then you definitely can! Always fun to fly your colors.
Nice and good info to know. We try to order it but the 16ft sold out so we’ll have to wait. 😂🤣
Awesome! Make sure you guys use my amazon affiliate link when it’s available !! 😁😁😁👍🏼
I got my husband a flag pole buddy for Christmas last year. Not too hard to put up. We fly the Stars and Stripes and Trump flags.
Nice! We’ve enjoyed it. I like your choice of flags 😉
Sweet! What keeps it in the bottom mount? Does it just sit in there?
There is a thumb screw that goes in there and tightens against the pole. No issues and we’ve had serious wind.
We are planning to get one of these. 💙
Been really happy with it so far 👍🏼
