Hey, turbo matching challenge. What would be your input for a turbo 13b that has to run an inlet restrictor sized between 32 & 34mm depending on the rally sanctioning body? And this would need to be something maybe not ideal but available to a budget grassroots rally team. Didn't know what to answer when some uk rally guy asked and even wonder if just going p port on something that's pretty much restricted to around 300hp by sanctioning body design...
@@BeaverLakeMotorsports the trick here is going to be cheating, of course... The restrictor is creating vacuum before the turbo inlet and absolutely annihilating efficiency of the turbo.
Looking for a turbo for my 8.3 cummins. looking to make 400-450hp Tried a s464/83-.90 t4 cause i got it cheap. Worked decent up top but too laggy. Currently have a s369/73-.91 on it cause i found it cheap. Its a bit better than the 464 but still laggier than i want. I'm thinking a 364sx-r or 368sx-r would fit the bill but i feel like the 68 turbine wheel might be too small. What are your thoughts?
