Thanks so much for starting a new series for the Mirage. I used to fly this a lot but since all the changes I have felt really intimidated trying to relearn this.
Your start-up tutorial was by far and away the better of the two that I have watched. The official ED start-up tutorial in the Training section for this aircraft wasn't easy to follow at all and needed a familiarity with the jet and its systems I obviously lacked. Maybe an English cockpit should become a standard with new modules, I believe that it would certainly make learning any new module a little less stop-and-start and instead give us a more flowing encouraging experience. In fact, just watching your tutorial, seeing the methodical step-by-step guidance, has given me the nudge to revisit the Mirage finally. Thank you deephack!
Recently picked up this beauty. Coming from an F-18 it feels really different and the French abbreviations on the buttons will drive me nuts XD But I can't wait to have time to learn how to properly use it. And thanks to your tutorials, I'm sure it will be relaxing 👌
Hey Deephack.Thank you for keep updating your tutorial list on various planes.I really like them and i appreciate your effort for doing so.Just a small insignificant side note regarding the pilots patches.The patch on the left arm under the greek flag is not by any means an actuall depiction of a Hellenic airforce patch.I tend to believe that probably a member of the Razbam team been on a trolling mood created that patch.The patch depicts the emblem of a major Greek football team (the double head eagle on a yellow backround color with the marked letters AEK) where as the military disciplinary code dictates that no emblems from political parties or political beliefs,football team,etc should ever be embedded on an official emblem/patch of the Hellenic Armed Forces.(for obvious reason (:D)
I havent flown this in YEARS! lol. Im glad to see the updates the devs did to her. Could you show the stored heading alignment? The full alignment is very long and Im sure most people will not want to do that every time.
This aircraft is beautiful. That was hard to say considering that it's a French aircraft. I'm sorry, I need to go and atone by binge-viewing images of Tornados and English Electric Lightnings!
Hi Deephack, just one quick question. I do everything as you do, but i don't get the pitch bars on the HUD after fisnishing the alinigment. I've also noticed that the main ADI is flagged. I don't get what i'm doing wrong.. has it ever happened to you? THANKS!
While following along with this I couldn't get the plane to start. Turns out the left side igniter ( 4:57 ) was not working, so you do actually have to use the right side igniter. Not sure if that's a bug or a "feature."

Ah, that is definately a bug as both should work. Probably hasn't been picked up as the switch starts off in the right side position.
