@@katielynn2858 I'm also going to be dual licensure (sped and elementary ed). My first placement is secondary sped starting next week and after that gen ed in a 4th grade class. :)
@@katielynn2858 I have only met my HTs and went to see my first placement since it's an hour away and so we can go over IEPs and such. That has gone well outside of just sitcom level comedic level awkwardness upon meeting first HT lol. 🤦♀️🤦♀️ Everyone has been supportive and helpful. We have also done a lot of curriculum training which I'm grateful for.
That is so far away! Geez. Well I’m glad you’re able to find a bright side, especially now when everything feels a little bit like we’re all being pranked! 😂
I am totally stressed too. So far I’ve chosen a focus learner, read through her goals, created a scope and sequence based on the student’s goals along with general curriculum, and I started filming when I teach. Since edTPA isn’t completely prepared for the semester, I haven’t been able to do much on the templates. I’m sure I’m missing things I should be doing and/or doing extra, but I’m just trying my best to get it all done! 🤷♀️
Question, if only your lesson plans were moved to the folder, how did your teacher have access to your slides and other doc files for your materials? Did you have to grant access ahead of time?
Great question, yes :) I set it up so anyone with the links could access everything and had the folder shared already. She had full access to it from the beginning so anything new in the folder she would have access to as well.
i'm a student teacher this semester as well! i'm so excited to follow your journey
