Austin doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone.....LOLOLOL.....He’s just plain Super talented 🙃💖🙃. That’s why they snagged him up when they found him on a cruise ship they both were performing on. It’s a cool story. 🙃💖🙃
@@joanwharff6483 yeah, Austin has proven quite a bit why he's in the band. Their "When a man loves a woman" cover is next level talent for Austin. I just think Tim's really good at showing off. That's not meant to be bad, I love when Tim shows off.
I rather thought it was to prove that Tim had been the one previously singing falsetto (just 'cos there's no similarity between their voices). I love this song - Tim's range is so impressive and their harmonies are always amazing!
Chance did a fantastic job with the bass line when Tim was signing the lead.
Most of the really low notes in this song are done by Chance, not Tim. They're both phenomenal!!
I was so taken by surprise with this Tim singing this high... I think his octave range must be even wider now! More than 5 must be closer to 7 now. I am with you on that! That being said, I really love the message of this song, and I love the music too. Thanks for your reaction!

One of my new favorites. Cowritten by Tim. Has that 50s do-wop/barbershop feel to it. They were together in this. Like they did for Cold Hard Cash and Warmest Winter and Christmas in Dixie. They had been together filming their Christmas special
Tim in school sang as a tenor until his voice dropped to bass. So this gives him the range he has.
Imagine the possibilities of a Dimash duet with our boy, Tim.
Tim’s range is insane. I read this was a B4 in this song which is high for even a tenor like myself. Chance’s bass was awesome in this also. All the guys were great in this. I heard that the guitar sort of sound at the end of each chorus was actually their honorary 6th member, Darren Rust, their producer. I guess Tim mentioned that in an interview.

Yes, you are right they were together to film this, as they were in Nashville to film their Christmas special at the beginning of November - the first time they'd all been together in 8 months. They definitely enjoyed having a film crew again, though I'm sure we'll be getting more home-made videos as they switch back from Christmas music. Maybe they'll actually take a couple of weeks off, though knowing these guys they'll be back at it soon enough.

Another stellar reaction my friend! What a blessing for Home Free to have not one, but 2 members that can hit those bass notes and then run up the scales to sing in tenor registers too. The handoffs between Tim and Chance were just seamless. The warm and fuzzy feelings this song gives off are truly a gift. Home Free has made the best of their time during this pandemic. They're showing their dedication to the group and their fans by keeping their nose to the grindstone, great work ethic. And banging out videos in quarantine while writing and releasing new originals like maniacs for both Home Free and their own solo material. Such an amazing group. I like how Tim and Adam hand off the bass lines and lead lines. Home Free is so dynamic and can change things up so much.

They *were* all together to film this, they did it while filming their Holiday Special (along with "Warmest Winter" and "Cold Hard Cash").
This one (as well as "Warmest Winter") were filmed using XR (extended reality) technology, which gives it a very different look. I don't completely understand it, but they were in front of huge LED screens, and the cameras track based on markings on the floor. It's been used for video games and some TV, but this is one of the first music video uses. They used it in the Holiday Special for a couple of songs as well.

I've been saying that I'd love to hear Tim Foust, Geoff Castellucci, and Avi Kaplan do a collaboration. They all have ridiculous ranges and each have a totally different sound. I bet it would go viral beyond anything I could imagine! ❤
Maybe they'll make one someday. It's great that Chance can take over the bass when Tim takes the lead.

"Cold Hard Cash" was the 1st video together and the 1st time they saw each other in 5 months. Btw....the video was shot with an XR camera....thats why they look so amazing

Their new Warmest Winter album is really a different type of Christmas album-with 5 originals and other songs that you don’t hear all the time. And several of the songs, including this one, Winter Song, Warmest Winter and What We Need Is Love, don’t even mention Christmas. I’ve really been enjoying listening to it.
Tim's voice is wonderful but there is another bass with amazing range if you want to check him out. the group he is with is called Voice Play and his name is Geoff Castellucci. Both of these men are well worth watching.

Dimash? Almost 7 octaves. Tom? 6+ according to an opera singer that reacts to HF. These good old country singing boys have always had swagger. I don't know if anyone else can but I can always tell when Tim and Chance swap off on bass. To me they have different timber to their voices. also Tim can go lower than Chance and tends to growl more.
