- Vila Nova De Milfontes is a sunny Alentejo gem crossed by the radiant river Mira. It is charmingly Portuguese, social, welcoming, with a good selection of restaurants and beaches for all tastes.
It is popular with Portuguese families and still not well regarded among foreign tourists. The Alentejo coast has hot summers, spring and mild autumns. If you want to explore the region it is recommended that you use your vehicle or rent one to explore the region.
Near the parish there are fantastic beaches for surfing and equipment can be rented in the locality - be careful with strong currents and hidden rocks. It is a great place to explore the Costa Vicentina, as it resides in the heart of the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and the Costa Vicentina.

Ótima matéria. Tem como nos informar o custo de vida por ai? E os arrendamentos? Caros? Difíceis de encontrar?
O custo de vida é o normal do território português, quanto a arrendamentos vai depender da modalidade que escolher, férias ou ano… é uma questão de procurar e negociar

Soy español y en agosto voy de vacaciones a Portugal. Mi idea era en un primer momento ir a Vilanova y estar 8 días por la costa Alentejana, pero los precios de alquiler de las casas son muy caros y al final me decanté por ir a Nazaré y alrededores, donde la oferta es mayor y por tanto más barato. Con ésto que te cuento, hazte a la idea de que al menos el alojamiento va a ser caro porque es una zona con menos infraestructuras que otras del país.
O paraíso é aí mesmo! Amei, visitarei na minha próxima viagem a Portugal, e se possível estiludarei a possibilidade de morar ai
